Closed for renevation just now, which is a shame as you can't get a decent view from any angle. So no point seeing the castle itself. However, the place opens up a pretty view.

Nice castle but impossible to go inside. Nice views of Inverness.

Unfortunately the viewing was closed here but very central location so worth a quick look anyway! The river views were quite scenic.

Just three stars because the castle is closed for redevelopment. The surrounding information boards are an interesting diversion and there are good views over the city from the front.

Okay but shut due to maintenance. Since it's shut it's best viewed from the river bridges.  It still offers great views over Inverness.
