I got 4 new tyres fitted, wheels balanced, and 4 wheel alignment checked and adjusted all in less than an hour, what’s not to like. Staff very polite and courteous offering tea and coffee to all customers. A slight improvement which could be made would be to either give a print out of wheel alignment parameters before and after adjustment, or showing the customer results on screen. Some other garages provide this which would be relatively easy to do. Had I have had this information, it would of been a 5 star review
Had a very poor experience with Kerr's recently..nnHad my car into them for an alignment, paid and left, only to go back within 5mins as the alignment was actually worse than before they touched it. They then 'fixed it', but it was still out after leaving once again. I decided not to go back a third time as clearly they couldn't do it right. Went to another reputable place, and was told the alignment was still out by a significant amount and was shown the print out.nnSafe to say this has ruined my opinion of Kerr's. But, I will add the two receptionists I dealt with were very nice and apologetic, so that's one good thing.
Been going to Kerr’s Tyres in Antrim for over 10years.nOnce more today, I’m delighted with the customer service, and forgive me, they really do go the extra mile.nGreat work everyone!!!nKeep it up. Special mention to all the front desk team.nReally great experience.
Very unhappy with this establishment. Went in because my engine wasn’t sounding great, fearful that it may be on its last legs. I left it in with Kerr’s, who called after 5 hours to say that it is a clutch and gearbox problem I had a new clutch and gearbox fitted by them less than 2 years prior, to which they quoted me £700 to fix. Desperate at the time to fix the problem and trusted that this was the case I went ahead. A day later they called again to say they found another issue which would cost me another £200. I did let them know that I’m not very happy with this but continued anyway should have known better but still had some faith in their experience. Car was fixed and the total came to around £1080, shocking enough. A week later my engine sounded much worse so i went in again, to which they explained that there’s nothing they can do. Needless to say I had to get a new car. I will never go back to this place, ever. I have been scammed out of money and tbh it would’ve been ok if they just told me to begin with that the car wasn’t worth fixing, but instead they decided to try put a plaster over a bad situation. Never again.
Went with a tear tyre blowout and they said I needed 3 new tyres at £130 each, apparently they were out of stock of the cheaper range which given the size of the place is hard to believe. One of the tyres they said needed changing was one they had replaced less than 9 months earlier and I don't do big mileage. Be very careful if accepting their advice on what you require. I'll be going elsewhere in future.
