Had a thoroughly pleasant visit here today. The staff were all very polite, informative & very helpful. As a free to visit site it's very popular, especially on a nice sunny day & the car parking can get a bit restrictive when busy. The cafe has a great selection of food etc but be aware it doesn't open properly until midday so don't start whining at the staff when you want a sausage roll before that time, which some people did today. Al in all very much worth a visit & would love to visit again.
A very nice house surrounded by a big garden area. Entry to house us free. You can enjoy yourself with your family, kids, and pet. I enjoyed it on a sunny day. You can have a good walk around the lake and green area.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo wait
On the edge of Hampstead Heath and surrounded by tranquil landscaped gardens, a London gem is hidden from the people's eyes it's called Kenwood. The breathtaking interiors which I admired much and stunning world class art collection, this country house is full of interesting things for everyone. A wonderful and colourful interior is really eye catching and make you feel to enjoy old classical times in real life especially library and Gardens and striking white building standing in middle of green place and pond surrounded with beautiful birds. From children's activities to the senior people interests, there is something to everyone to enjoy this place. a café to relax and acres of grounds to stretch your legs, there are treats in store for every visitor. It's free then why not try to explore it when you around. I happily recommend.
Such a pretty Victorian house and it’s free to enter. A nice day out in Hampstead heath Park with this gorgeous museum would be lovely. It’s really nice and quiet not everyone knows about it. There’s a cafe as well.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo

Kenwood House offers an enjoyable experience for art enthusiasts. Free entry for all visitors regardless of being a member of the English Heritage. Unless you are a member, parking will need to be paid for. You can explore two floors full of art and victorian decor. There is a room with fancy dress where you can take photos. On entry, you have a very brief induction to the house and an explanation why entry is for free, so make sure you have a pint of Guninnes. There are volunteers on hand to give informative information, and if you ask nicely, they will even take a photo for you. Leave yourself about two hours. At the end, there is a shop to buy a suveneer or two. Then, take yourself to the nice cafe to enjoy the surroundings of Kenwood house.
On the edge of Hampstead Heath, Kenwood was created by 18th-century Scottish architect Robert Adam. You will find breathtaking interiors, the star attraction being the Library and a stunning, world class art collection. And don’t miss out the 112 acres of glorious parkland were created by designer Humphry Repton. Check out all my photos to see how beautiful it is
Beautiful house, paintings and grounds. There are many knowledgeable and approachable volunteers throughout the house willing to explain and answers questions. The man in the the dining room housing the Rembrandt was especially helpful. Free entry. A little known gem.
Nice house and garden. There are lots of paitings in the house, but there are no explanations for it. It would be nice if there were some more information next to the paintings. And also one of the famous paitings was in a dressing room instead of other rooms where would be more appreciated. Other than that great place to visit with family.
Perfect place to visit if you’re interested in english history- Kenwood house is a part of the english heritage and one of London’s finest country houses. Kenwood was given to the nation together with an internationally important paintings and was enjoyed of the public ever since.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
