UPS delivered my package here without the option for re-delivery. I went to collect it only to be told by the cashier that 'it's closed'. The shop was still very much so open, he looked over to where my package was and told me I had to go back the next day. I asked what time 'it closed', and was told 6pm. It was 5:54pm. He then changed the closing time to 5:30pm. I hope to never any ties with this 'business' again. Update: Went to collect my package today. The woman who served me was extremely rude - not surprising. Before she gave me my package, she asked whether I posted a review yesterday. She then became very aggressive and threatened to not give me my package. When she finally decided to do her job and get my package, everyone in the shop could overhear her saying, 'It's her. That lady'. Look people, there's a reason this is rated a 1 star business. I do not recommend patronising here, unless you enjoy a headache. Don't suffer in silence! File a complaint with The Citizens Advice Bureau, contact Hammersmith and Fulham Council, and of course, write a review. People need not disrespect those who help run their business, i.e. the customer! Have a blessed day
Very poor service. A beautiful brand new silk shirt, worn only once, was ruined with stains after collecting. Denied any responsibility nor offering to rectify. Alleging that because it was silk it would damage it. Also alleged it was stained when brought in to be cleaned which was simply not true. They did not record that on any receipts nor paperwork when the shirt was handed in to be cleaned. I took away the other item that I hoped to have dry cleaned. Don't bother using.
We used them for laundry for our B&Bs but honestly they have the worst customer service and 0 accountability policy. Regularly deliver stained towels and bedlinen. No apology, no offer of re-cleaning or refund. This is what our guests found when arrived in our otherwise sparkling clean Airbnb. New cleaner opened pack but because stains were on the underside, bless her, she didn't see them. KDC's policy is: "Customer is always wrong". The only thing those people care about is to get their money. Their drivers at least are decent, hard working people who try to turn up on time, shame about the management. I guess they will never learn as they just do not care.
Horrible service! Don't even consider using them. Their laundry service is worse than mediocre; just toss everything into a bag without folding or pairing. Over the course of a year they lost dozens of items of clothing, and when confronted their "manager" never even called back after 3 attempts to reach him. Their English is poor and communicating with them is difficult. They do not inventory items received so you never get a print out or know what they are charging you for. I found an a better alternative in about 5 minutes.
I have been running small five family Hotel business in Holland Park area for more than 7 years. I have been using Kensington Dry cleaners for my sheet and towel services since I start my business. They are excellent. I normally drop off and collect the linens at the Branch. Occasionally I need them to be delivered. They have excellent Delivery services. Delivered on time within our time slot. Fantastic service. The lady at the branch is absolutely fantastic! She really understand my need, her professional services indeed ‘go the extra mile’ Prices are reasonable too. I would really recommend Kensington Dry Cleaners for any one who need excellent professional cleaning service.
The staff at the West Hampstead branch are extremely rude, I felt like I was doing them a favour by bringing my clothes in - they are the ones that offer the service, right? Greeted with 'what is your number' as soon as I walked through the door. Surely, a 'hello, how can I help' is the usual welcome to any service store? More training is needed for their staff in terms of customer interaction. As far as the dry cleaning service goes, it is fair and the opening hours/ prices are very reasonable. I would recommend to a friend if they were looking for a last minute dry cleaning service.
This dry cleaners is run by the laziest man in all of london. Rude also. Refused three days to give me my parcel simply because he wasn't bothered. On the third day I entered his shop 5 minutes before closing not ideal, I know, but I am a busy mum of two working a full time job in lockdown and he refused to give it to me because he had 'things to do' and wanted to go home. He said it was because ups was alreasy closed which is not true and later served a lady that came after me to drop off a parcel. The worst. Have filed an official complaint against him and plan to take it as further as I possibly can. People like this man should not be serving members of the public.
I was on a business trip and needed a quick turnaround. this place was outside my hotel and so i did not look at reviews. I can tell you that i should have. Place ruined two shirts making a mistake that they owned up to. I understood as they did the mistake and gave them a solid chance to rectify the problem. They did not fix the problem. This is a chain. Avoid them and go somewhere else.
I never write reviews but i had to write this. I used them for a few years. Their service wasn't great but it was convenient. They ruined one of my shirts recently cut the collar in a way that it was not possible to wear it anymore. When i complained, they completely ignored me and the owner told me "we didn't do anything wrong. You have to speak to manufacturer of your shirt!!!!! " so frustrating.....
Beside the fact that the staff at the West Hampstead branch tend to be dismissive to rude the pricing on alterations is outrageous. I was charged 24.95 to take the sleeves up 1 inch on a jacket. When I complained about the price the comment was "they know the customers aren't happy about our pricing". Will not be going back for anything else.
