OMG! Went to catch a train to Leeds and my eyes were damaged as I sat waiting. On the opposite platform............. A man in a kilt with a trombone That isn't a double entendre! I kid you not......... Sat down, man spreading in a short kilt, undercarriage hanging for all to barely see. .......and he had a trombone I should have got that journey for free I've added a photo as proof😀

I have used this train station for a few times and had no complaints... until now.This was my first independent experience. I am a 6'3 15 yr old. Me and some friends decided to go to Bradford to experience some of the facilities that it provides. First we tried getting tickets via the machine. As it was taking a while we stopped this and decided to purchase a ticket at the desk. The man tried charging us adult tickets. We were unaware he did this and just thought he was charging us extra money. Because of this we decided to return to the machine. Whilst doing this we inserted exactly £8 before the system started to shut down. The machine gave us back the £5 but didn't return the £3 inserted. Due to the machine shutting down we went back to the man at the desk. He was already serving a customer so we went to a different desk. We asked for child tickets. The man refused and stated we needed to show him ID. I was fine with this as it is standard procedure but what ID does a young teen carry with them apart from a bus pass ( which none of us have). Once told this I searched my phone for any proof of age. The following event ruined my experience . A member of staff approached us and began to yell stating he had been watching what we were doing and we were trying to scam the station. I withheld my aggression and tried to talk passively to the man but he continued to argue with us. We were unable to get our money back or child tickets so we left the premises. This had a major negative impact for our morale for the rest of the day. I hope next time I use this service they improve customer satisfaction.

A lovely traditional railway station on the Airedale Line and Keighley & Worth Valley Railway. Steam trains arrive and depart regularly.
