Unfortunately, I have found Keats pharmacy to be rather unhelpful. I have the impression, having had to deal with them over many months, that the customer is an aggravation, a hindrance, not to be taken seriously. The result is that you are not really cared for. A shame really.
Cute little pharmacy with a wide range of neutraceuticals for your health needs. Excellent staff
Bit confused by all these other reviews.. I've been going to this pharmacy for years and I hope I will never have to change! All the staff are brilliantly knowledgeable about everything and have never failed to give very helpful advice. Marion is particularly brilliant as she remembers everything so can give very nuanced advice. They're all exceptionally friendly and welcoming.
Unbelievably rude. I was stood there waiting for my prescription, and the lady was disrespectfully talking about the 'inconvenience' it was causing her whilst I was stood there listening. I waited for 15 minutes and didn't even receive my medication in the end. A very dehumanising experience.
The team at Keats Pharmacy are always polite, professional and knowledgeable. A good range of top quality products. I highly recommend this chemist.
I moved here a short while ago but all notes did not arrive and medication had changed too. Did have a good chemist but find Keats exceptional. Has been a very difficult time for all, we really do not see behind the scenes but have just carried on as polite and helpful as usual. I speak as I find and they are five stars all the way for me.
Terrible service; during an antibiotics shortage and an increase in scarlet fever in young babies, the assistant refused to let me know the email address which the doctor could use to email them a prescription for my baby, and demanded the doctor ring them to get that email address, which as you can imagine is impossible to do when the doctors are so busy. Other pharmacies are much more helpful and provide me with the email address to email through the prescription.
Lovely helpful team and a charming well stocked pharmacy. Marion, the pharmacist is amazingly kind, patient and helpful with vaccinations and travel advice. Definitely recommend
Staff are disrespectful and dismissive. I came into the pharmacy to ask about what I thought may have been a clerical mistake. I had been prescribed 5 bandages and 5 sheets of Manuka honey dressing. The pharmacy provided me with 20 bandages and 20 sheets of honey at a very substantial cost. I came in to confirm whether it was a mistake as I am on very limited means. There were two women working. An older, Caucasian woman kept multiple customers at least five people, including two children were in the pharmacy waiting, while passive aggressively commenting to her co-worker that 'there are too many people in here, especially those kids.' It gets worse. In response to my question, she aggressively confronted me. She explained that they filled the prescription and if I have a problem with it, I should call my GP. She continued on to ask why I had a problem with the cost. Why was I there to complain about the £9 per item fee. Can I not afford £9? And asked if I didn't want to contribute to the NHS. Because by complaining about the price, I was trying to take from the NHS. The pharmacist lambasted me and humiliated me, calling me out on my financial capability in front of no less than five people. I was not confrontational, I just thought it was a mistake since I spent over £40 on 30 items, when I was told at the GP that I would receive 5 items. I will no longer give my business to Keats Pharmacy. I will also be reporting this treatment to Keats Group Practice and recommending that they do not refer people especially minorities to Keats Pharmacy. No one deserves to be treated that way.
Appalling customer service - rude, impatient and patronising. Saw a staff member visibly roll her eyes and sigh at a customer who was confused about the pick-up process for lateral flow tests, and needed a simple explanation. Said staff member complained that 'when you get asked every two minutes it gets frustrating' - well, then invest in better signage, alongside better manners.
