Unfortunately didn't have the best experience. The Bakewell tarts were shop bought confirmed by waitress and inedible, way too expensive for what it was. The teas were common ones you can find in any supermarket. I would not recommend.
One of the best experiences in Chester. The original tea is so good. My favourite menu is fruity scone, melted in the mouth with soft cream and jam. Price was not too expensive.
My wife and my self visited yesterday we both had the 2 course lunch. We both had the crab pate, then my wife had the chicken and I had the 8oz rump steak both superb. Staff very friendly and attentive.
Second time I've stopped here for lunch beautiful building, beautiful food, good service, great price.
Omg the scones here are to die for. They are served warm with clotted cream and strawberry preserve. And lovely selection of loose teas.don't walk by as you will be missing a treat .
