Been going there since its launch years ago. They have improved a lot all that time. Their Pakistani cuisine is brilliant. Hard to find this taste in Slough or at close vicinity. Ambiance is great, plenty of space, in a nice weather you can sit outside in a balcony looking over the park. We have booked this venue for the birthday parties and serves pretty well. Parking: Plenty of parking you can park next to the restaurant or outside activity centre parking.
Came to Kashmiri Karahi from London at lunch time. The restaurant was almost empty at the time. There is parking available which is convenient for anyone driving. Unfortunately my experience at KK was extremely disappointing. The waiter seemed disinterested and there wasn't so much as a smile from anyone serving us the entire time we were there. I ordered the Seekh Kebab starter, Karahi Ghosht and Ginger Chicken mains. The waiter practically dropped the plate on the table with the kebabs rolling all over the plate which was ridiculous. I've never seen such poor behaviour and service in any Pakistani restaurant before. The Karahi Ghosht was ok but the Ginger chicken was terrible. Bland with hardly any ginger in it. I honestly could've made it better myself following a YouTube recipe. The common thing binding all three items was that they were *extremely* oily. To the point there were pools of it in the plates including the Seekh kebabs! How do you make Seekh kebabs this oily?? Please see the photos for proof. If it was this bad when the place was near empty I can't imagine how much worse it would be when it's busy. Avoid this place.
Food: very delicious and tasty. Service: Very poor service as one of the guy threw the plate on our table and went. Definitely would not recommend to my friends, maybe I would suggest for a take away rather dining in.
Food was amazing. Taste great and portions were generous. Service let the place down and lack of ambiance. No background music. Waiters were disengaged and hovered about the reception more than tables. Not enough glasses were given for drinks and glass bottles given unopened so had to try and use a knife. Parking: Plenty of parking between the restaurant and the close by parking lot.
Love this place. Delicious food, ok service and a small restaurant. There's a small play area nearby for kids to play. We had shish Kebab and chops in the starter and Karai in the main which was mouth watering and delicious specially the shish Kebab.
Ambience and location is great. Food is average and the service is average too. We ordered starters and mains too, and they all came together. It was 12 of us all the majority said that they felt rushed with their food. Surely the mains need to come nearly 20 minutes after the starters. It was a week evening and the place wasn't crowded either so there was no reason for the waiters to be rushing. From a service point of view, every time the waiter came to us he didn't have the menu on him. Some desserts tool ages to come, meanwhile the waiters could have kept us updated. I will go there afat though for breakfast as I have heard many good things about the breakfast.
Have been going there since a while now but it was Awful in my last visit. CHICKEN chilli karhai was like some chinese dish and Kashmiri special Biryani was anything but like biryani. The same boneless shredded Chicken was used in both dishes. Need to improve the taste and standard. No salads were given. Spoons were given when asked. The waiter handed me a few spoons!!! Highly unprofessional!!!
Delightful food, which I guess is the main point. Critically the place lacks character. Decent background music and something on the walls would go a long way. Worth a mention they don't serve alcohol. So if you like a beer with your curry, not the place for a group of lads.
What a strange experience, location is great, interior decor odd with seating not aesthetically pleasing. Arrived at the restaurant and absolutely no smile or warm welcoming, ushered to the table and not asked preference Al thought there was lots of space. Serving style incredibly unique, ice and lemon in a salad bowl, the mixed grill serviced in a plate as opposed to a sizzler in many restaurants. The food itself in terms of flavour, texture and spice was average, does not stand out or have anything in particular that would draw you back. We ordered a chicken karahi as recommended and must say that was much better than the grills. Grill is over priced for what it is, curry prices are ok. It’s the location that’s wonderful other than that, it’s substandard.
Mainly Asian diners which tells you that the food must be good. Went for lunch with an Asian pal, he had been there many times before and recommended the place, I wasn't disappointed, the food was incredibly good. He said for evening dinner you must book otherwise you have zero chance of getting a table, so book well in advance, you've been warned!! It's not a place for a romantic meal but I cannot stress enough how good the food is, well worth a visit. Vegetarian options: Many vegetarian options available Kid-friendliness: Children welcome Parking: Parking at lunchtime was easy, other times especially evening is impossible Wheelchair accessibility: Not sure Dietary restrictions: Not sure
