Ridiculous! Tried to get into the club with a friend. Not sure why we weren't allowed in as we had ID and then people after us got in with the same type of ID.

Ridiculous. The blokes on the door simply refuse entry to anyone waiting who isn't paying for Queue Jump. Makes sense, but after an hour of being first in line, this takes it a step too far. Sort out the door staff and make entry a bit fairer for those willing to wait an hour for entry. Shame, because it's a great club once you finally get in, after waiting for the 22nd century.

First off, Kasbah is more expensive than some other clubs and the drinks prices are also much more expensive. With the price, doesn't come quality either.

Secondly, the place itself is large enough, but they cram too many people into it, which makes it feel really small. This makes it way too cramped to even move your arms above your head. It also means that cleaning is almost non-existent. This results in a vile floor, which you really don't wish to walk on.

Thirdly, the vibe of the place doesn't feel right. This is probably due to the dreadful 'noise' which was emitted all night. Essentially, what they did was play a clip of something well-known for about 10 seconds and then smoothly transition into a beat which is just noise.

Looking around the club, I see people happy and dancing once actual music comes on and then 10 seconds later, this dreadful, unfamiliar beat comes on and everybody looks confused and the dancing seems to die quickly.

Overall, my experience was purely disappointing, especially with the raised prices. Just my opinion though.

The WORST 'nightclub' I have ever attended in my life. 1h+ cues to get in, Barbie girl was repeated three times on my first/last visit, possibly to cater to the underaged girls that the perverted 'bouncers' failed to ID. Kasbah has removed the review section on their Facebook page... WHAT ARE THEY TRYING TO HIDE? I'll tell you :)

Their Culture: 
The Kasbah team have actively contributed to the closure of other nightclubs that once existed (via the city council FACT) - such as Careys and Rehab. These were REAL nightclubs that played a fantastic range of music, attracting world famous DJs such. Now that they are closed - we are left with Kasbah... and their prestigious 'Kinky thursdays', where attendees are challenged to 'find the dildo' in the club in order to win a fishbowl of cheap vodka - to a playlist which includes the popular children's TV show 'Fireman Sam' theme song. Kasbah would prefer to limit the nightlife in Coventry so that students have no choice but to indulge in bad vodka and cheese music - now these partygoers will have to travel to other uni cities in order to experience any form of culture/musical talent. 

Their Venue:
The venue is consistently packed way beyond capacity to the point where you cannot move, imagine if there was a fire? Floors covered in vomit, awful smell of sweat everywhere, worst playlist of music I have ever heard in my life. Kasbah have such a bad reputation in the music industry that they are unable to book any decent acts - no one will touch them with a stick. E.G biggest recent headliner at Kasbah was... 'The Chuckle Brothers'... Not much more to say about the venue, but what about the 'bouncers'?... See below.

Their Staff:
Rex who runs the door (the short fat stumpy indian man in his 50s with a clipboard) really is the scum of the earth. I am a white caucasian male and had no trouble getting in - but the doormen refused entry to several black males who all presented valid ID and student cards (after cueing for over 1 hour). Rex and his 'bouncers' will let underage girls in without ID - yet will be extremely heavy handed with them when they are drunk. I witnessed a clearly underage girl (who was not ID'd on entry) with a very small frame - couldnt have been taller then 5'1 - dragged down the stairs backwards by her ankles as her head slapped off each step (bouncer I am referring to in this case is a white male in his late 20's early 30s - could have been 15 stone and about 6'3 tall). Imagine if this was your daughter/sister? This is not the first occasion they have lived up to their reputation as violent ex-cons... These subhuman pieces of s*** have inflicted life changing injuries on party goers male and female in the past (refer to local papers) yet manage to keep their jobs? Why? Because they 'know which locals not to let in' don't make me laugh, any local bouncer/security firm with half a brain cell could do the same job.

in summary, DO NOT waste your time attending Kasbah, it is the biggest dive in the country - you will be disappointed. DO NOT put money in the pockets of an organisation that is ruining your city's nightlife.
