Very good venue for getting involved in a gig. Quite cramped on a popular night however if you would prefer to step back. Very expensive to drink here too.

Came here to see Charlie Sloth on New Years, the venue was great and is a bit bigger than it looks on the pictures, however it got to 3:15am and Charlie Sloth wasn’t on. I’m not sure if he ever turned up but when we left there were only 20 people on the dance floor as it was getting late. I do understand this wasn’t Empires fault (hence 3/5 stars) but we only travelled to Coventry to see Charlie Sloth play.

A really good venue, very good, helpful and friendly staff, great sound quality and a nice space. Prevented from giving it 5 stars due to it having the worst selection of drinks I’ve ever seen on offer at a bar anywhere in my life.
