I had to visit Kalpna the both evenings I was in Edinburgh. The food was fresh and very tasty and to add to this the staff on both occasions were extremely friendly, smiling with attention to detail. On both occasions the restaurant was quite busy so you know the locals like to go there too.

Really great food and friendly staff! Loads of choice for both veggies and vegans - although only one vegan dessert. Not a very cosy restaurant but clean and spacious. Serves a lot (a lot) of good food.

After doing a 3 day tour of Edinburgh's best vegan food, Kalpna was our highlight! Amazing flavours and a fantastic range of vegan options. All topped off with brilliant service and a lovely atmosphere. Couldn't recommend highly enough to anyone looking for vegetarian or vegan food in Edinburgh.

I was there for dinner last night. The food and service was excellent. Big portions so go armed with plastic container though restaurant can give you one. :)
