One of my favourite Korean spots in London, what an absolute find! The flavours here are so rich and authentic, and you can tell they place a lot of value on authenticity when it comes to food. I’ve been many times with friends for the BBQ too and always have such a good time! My top dishes have got to be their soft tofu jjigae, and of course their amazing stew pots as pictured I can’t write this review without mentioning the fried chicken too as this is one of the better places with that signature crisp coating and authentic sauces that are exactly what you find in Korea.
Now I understand why it has this rating! Everything is exactly how it is supposed to be. The place is clean and smells fresh. The food is just divine and mouthwatering. On the menu you can find an enormous variety of korean dishes cooked beautifully. Needless to say that the tables are equipped with their own built-in grill, and you can cook your meat and veggies the way you want. We had fried rice with runny eggs, chicken teriyaki, dumplings, noodles with seafood, sake, and some other soft drinks. All this for four people. The person in charge is very friendly and will engage in pleasant conversations. The only suggestion I can make is regarding the portion size as it can be increased to match the prices. Definitely, it's a place to visit again! Vegetarian options: There are vegetarian options Kid-friendliness: Many children whilest we visited. Parking: No parking. Wheelchair accessibility: Yes.
We got the large mixed BBQ set £52, which apparently serves 4 to 5 people. But we found it just about right for 3 people. £4.80 for kimchi , £4.80 for pickled radish . The portion size was very small for that price. Receipt hand written in Korean , with 10% service charge. Total bill amount came up to £93 for 5 people. The other two friends had rice and chicken and Vegetarian Bibimbap which was £12 and £11 respectively. The service was good, however i think it is overall overpriced for this experience and the location.
A fun and delicious experience! This small, cute, quiet, restaurant comes highly recommended. Went in for dinner midweek. Good service at this 'homely' feeling local restaurant. The food is delicious, AND fun to make it you happen to request one of the BBQ tables I booked one in advance. Otherwise, plenty of other tasty dishes are available on a menu with lots to choose from. Prices are fair. I know we'll be returning for future visits.
- We tried the fried chicken, Bulgogi, a Tofu dish and Kimchi Pancake. All were delicious. - Excellent service, clean restaurant and friendly welcoming staff Would highly recommend
Really amazing bbq!!! myself and my partner had a well generous portion of the bbq platter medium size a long with Kimchee Pancake and pork dumplings. Overall, service was great, very attentive. Nice atmosphere. We will definitely be coming back again :
OK.Cook Korean Restaurant is just slightly ok. I asked for no beef on the cold noodles and he refused to replace it with anything, but also didn’t change the price? Bit crazy, the beef is the most expensive part. The noodles were fine, I loaded it with gojuchang and it was more edible. My lovely Italian partner did not enjoy her chicken katsu, the sauce was jammy. The fried chicken was fine I heard. Not authentic, I lived in the Korean Peninsula for a short time, they would be ashamed there.
Just went there today for dinner. The food was really tasty. We had kimchi pancake, tteokbokki, bibimbap, half half fried chicken, a plate of mix meats for 2-3ppl and a bulgogi hotpot. We used to have Korean food twice a month for many years living in Asia, this will definitely be a place to come back. Very friendly staff, very clean as well.
All the food was so delicious Especially shrimp kkanpunggi tastes amazinggggg I recommend everyone to try it
Amazing food as always!! eating in or getting takeaway, its always the best quality and price. Took my brother and family here as it was his birthday and he enjoyed the food so much he recommended to his friends! The kimchi pancake was amazing soft but crunchy, the seafood jajangmyeon was phenomenal the noodles were chewy and al dente, kimchi fried rice delicious, bbq meat was marinated well and were juicy and tender, squid tempura was fried too perfection and werent oily, what more can i say its one of the best korean restaurant in town and everytime i go or get a takeaway its always the same quality as i went to the restaurant to eat 30/10 definitely will go again!! Sorry dont have much pictures as we were all hungry and smelled amazingly delicious!
