Great hotel, central location to where we needed to be and a really good price, the breakfast was brilliant and the staff were friendly and helpful.nThe room was clean and airy too.nThe only downside was the lack of parking but they do have an agreement with a car park £10 for 24hr parking but it's not made clear until after you check in at the desk.

Sad to post this POOR REVIEW we came to Plymouth last year and stayed in the same hotel and because we had a bad experience with food not being available and short staffed the manager at the time who was very courteous and helpful offered a big discount on food/drinks etc for our next visit. We've stayed 2 nights one more night to go and both evenings ate in the bar  restaurant closed Friday night there were 4 things unavailable but what we had was good but very short staffed..so very slow. Saturday night  even more things  unavailable  on the menu and the poor guy who was serving us extremely embarrassed having to confess this again! Despite being run off his feet again he stayed calm and served us the best way he could! The food wasn't as good chips tasted stale and warmed through, chewy!and I'd finished my meal before my husband had received his! The manager on duty was very polite and apologetic and offered discount again which we'd already had.. missing my point that instead of offering compensation  something should be done about the whole management of this hotel. If something is not available and knowing that the hotel is fully booked surely it makes sense to either replenish food and keep well stocked and employ more staff? Or don't offer food!! It's meant to be a 4 star hotel. Such a shame as the staff are lovely and rooms comfortable..I HOPE THIS REACHES OUT TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN? We won't be staying here again if it doesn't improve.

We always stay at Leonardos, whenever we visit Plymouth. The rooms are clean  and quiet.nBreakfast is good too. All the staff are super helpful and professional, especially the restaurant staff. A special thanks to Chris from breakfast times , he was amazing! Even taught my son a few magic tricks . Thank you

Stayed here a few times now. Staff really friendly. Rooms are clean and beds super comfy! Breakfast was incredible and bar service was fast in the evenings. Overnight fridges by reception are a great idea too. Quite noisy if you have a front room and the window open.

Rooms ok, a bit dirty I'm places with cobwebs in corners etc. breakfast food was good but the staff simply couldn't cope with the amount of guests. This means on both days we didn't have breakfast together and pastries were unavailable. Poor staff were run ragged with clearly not enough support. Will not be back. Spend the extra and go to the Crowne Plaza.
