i travel for work a lot and this is my preferred choice in Plymouth, having stayed here at least 20 times. Easy car parking that you pay for at the hotel, great breakfast that starts at 6.30 am.nif you do have a problem the staff are great at fixing it quickly.nonly word of warning is if you forget any toiletries try not to buy them from the hotel as they are rather dear
Good location, welcoming pleasant staff, good breakfast selection and seating. Rooms a bit tatty, bathroom not the cleanest, some things broken. Traffic noisy outside but bed was comfy and had a good night's sleep
Lovely hotel with a really nice atmosphere. Rooms were well presented, clean and spacious. Breakfast in the morning was good with a standard selection of pastries, cooked breakfast and cereals. I will use Leonard's again.
Would not recommend staying here. It is extremely run down.nnDuring dinner the two young guys on the bar started yelling fire alarm and trying to clear us out. Only for it to be a noise from the elevator. They just laughed it off. How do your staff not know what a fire alarm sounds like? That is really concerning if there were actually an incident.nnMy card got stuck in my door twice and then stopped working all together so I had to get another one cut.nnThe food was subpar. The elevators are especially bad. Overall not worth the price.
The rooms are okay. The bar was very poor. Haven’t had any of the cocktail incredients I wanted to have. And the worst is the car park. Lift is not working. It’s super dirty and complicated to find the right way. We met other people as well who were looking for the hotel nnIt is super noisy. We had a room with a door in the wall and I could hear every single word what the couple in the room next to us were speaking. At 4.30 AM! Built in a noise reducing door.nnThe service at the reception was very nice but at the bar it wasn’t.nnAnd there is a problem with the room cards. Sometimes they don’t work and one time it got stuck and the manager had to come to get it out with a knife.
