This record shop used to be on the first floor of Saint Johns Shopping Centre Now relocated to the Ground floor. Not only does it have vinyl for all genres but sells concert tickets, and has also in-house bands. With their own T-shirts with the iconic vinyl shop logo Jumbo Records.
Amazing place. With an excellent range of genres and decently priced vinyl its hard to not leave this place with something! Staff are great and super knowledgeable.
came here for RSD 2024 looking for a particular record. I mucked up and bought the wrong version of it - they let us come back in straight away and change it for the correct version their last in stock! with no trouble at all. the staff here is lovely and were super understanding. very happy! :

Music heaven. Massive vinyl selection, spanning the whole spectrum of genres. Impossible not to find something in here, staff are all passionate and knowledgeable. Highly recommend.
Everytime I’ve gone to Jumbo I’ve been ignored. The staff behind the counter aren’t busy, just rude. Also they don’t have a metal section. I’ll stick with Crash in future.
Nice shop lot of LPs and what is good - they have quite a nice CD selection. When I visited it was poor on rock / metal a bit.
my favourite record shop ever. the staff are so helpful and lovely, they do a great selection of vinyl and CDs, and all competitively priced. they also do lots of free gigs when you pre-order records. if i could give 10 stars i would.
In the online age thank sod for record shops like jumbo..a quick call is always my go to for easy ticket purchases. I took my son to an all ages melvins gig and it was a trancendant experience for him...jumbo have pulled tickets from nowhereagain and again . thanks jubo..from me n my son .he's now in the club.another generation straight to the original Leeds store. Great imaginative stock friendly advice. Just a great place to spend an afternoon with a thousand pounds and feed your mind for years to come. I salute you jumbo records. The first and the best. Long may you continue.dont ever change...
Used to get styluses and info. A good shop for cds on more obscure music.
