Story

We have come a long, long way since my great grandfather started the business nearly 140 years ago. Here you will find comprehensive details of the most popular and best value musical instruments.

Our orchestral area covers brass, woodwind and stringed instruments with a full range of accessories. We also operate a very popular rental scheme for children and beginners. For drummers and percussionists, everything you need in our expansive drum store; kits, snares, percussion, cymbals, stands, hardware, cases and accessories. The acoustic store covers acoustic, electro-acoustic and classical guitars along with accessories. If you prefer to tickle the keys then visit our keyboard store.

We also retain probably one of the largest stocks of sheet music in the north of England. Whether your needs are classical, jazz, blues, rock or any other form, if it is not in stock we can get it quickly. We can also supply a wide range of classroom instruments for schools, upon request.

Dr. John Scheerer is a caring, thoughtful wholistic Physician. Dr. Scheerer takes all the time you need to sort out any issues and write a game plan to resolve them. I am in good health and I want to keep it that way. I have been a patient for over nine years and value his input on how to stay healthy. Thanks to Dr. Scheerer, I am learning how to meditate, this is a step to help cope with daily living and good mental health. Thank you Dr. Scheerer for all you do for your patients, we are better off thanks to your care.
I lived in Michigan for over 8 years and Dr Scheerer was my family doctor. He is a very caring, personable physician with a holistic approach. Dr Scheerer was exactly what I was looking for in a doctor. My husband and I moved to Ohio to be close to family and it has been challenging to find a doctor like Dr Scheerer. He is a wonderful doctor!
My son and I started to visit Jack in 1986 and he is still our physician today. Jack was my physician while I was pregnant for my second son and has cared for him since birth 20 years. I trust Jack to do the best for me, to advise me appropriately and to give me the hug when I really need it. Jack is a compassionate and caring doctor who has selected a staff of people that reflect these qualities as well. If I ever move from A2, he will be one of my biggest losses. My family loves Dr. Jack!
Our family has seen Dr.Scheerer for over 20 years as well. Whenever our insurance options forced us to use other doctors it was torture. We were grateful when we were able to finally get an insurance company back at my husband's job that allowed us to see Dr.Scheerer again. I am an RN and Dr.Scheerer is very respectful of my knowledge as well. He is highly colloborative with the patient when treating you. He honors the fact that his patients are the first experts on their own bodies and he listens intendly to them.
Dr. John aka "Jack" Scheerer has been our family doctor for over two decades... He is no nonsense, knowledgable and has NEVER failed us... Unlike many, he searches for the cause of your illness and doesnt just treat a symptom. I would highly recommend him for all your general practitioner needs.
My Grandma started seeing Dr. Scheerer first back in the 90's and then my whole family Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Brothers, In-laws, Parents, and My spouse started seeing him. He is by far the best MD. He is a holistic DR, and always starts with those options before exploring medicine. He always double checks himself by researching, before commiting to his answer. The office is very home like, so no cold feeling when coming into his office or rooms. He is very sweet, wears regular clothes for those white coat syndroms and always greets me with a hug. He remembers each and everyone of his patients, so you feel like family! I wish I could give him more stars!
Awesome doctor. Have known him for over 25 years. Liked that he gives the holistic alternative as well as the conventional therapies.
Awesome bedside manner, respects mom's instincts and knowledge. Doesn't push anything parents or kids aren't comfortable with. Gives true informed consent.
