Booked in here at last moment because the other tapas place was full. Wow! Good call!! Tapas was best I've had in UK unless I'm cooking. . Very casual ambience, very friendly staff. Very definitely be going back next time I'm in Aberdeen.
Staff were really friendly and helpful. Food was pretty good and reasonably priced if you get a deal. Bring your own booze means the atmosphere is lively, so it's a great place to go with a group of friends.
Extremely rude and aggressive owner! His dishes are average and over priced so no need for his overinflated ego!! He makes up the opening hours as he goes along! It was advertised as being open til 11pm but at 10:30 he came storming into the restaurant shouting at the 3 remaining tables to get out now! When one of my friends said there was no need to speak to paying customers in that way he should back he was the owner and could speak to customers any way he wants! Please don’t give this arrogant idiot any custom!
We really enjoyed our meal here. It's not the Ritz inside, but what they lack in decor they certainly make up for with the food. I originally thought this restaurant was primarily pizza and pasta, but was pleasantly surprised it was pizza and Spanish tapas. There is no licence for alcohol, but this was an advantage, I could take my own and pay a small corkage fee, a big saving against paying over the top prices for glasses of wine. It also meant I could take my own favourite wine. The prices for the tapas was £5.95/£6,95/£7.95 depending on the dish, which at first seemed quite high for tapas, but when the dishes started flowing I then saw why. They are big and filled to the brim. I ordered a Hot BBQ chicken & Pepperoni pizza and also Gambas with garlic and chilli oil, there was plenty to share around. My friend ordered Chorizo Malaga which was again a large portion, thankfully for me as I had to have it, the smell was delicious. Other items ordered was Scallops and black pudding, patatas bravas and garlic bread. I have never seen so much garlic bread portions in one basket. Everyone was suitably happy with their meal, saying there was nothing they could fault, apart from the fact we could have co-ordinated our order better having order 3 portions of paatas bravas, when two would have fed all 5 of us. The service was very quick and there was no over fussing over the table. I liked it so much I am taking my partner back there for another meal this weekend!
Expensive and not worth the £21 for dishes that were mainly potato with spice. Choose your own dishes if you don't want to be shortchanged by the chef.
Good food, relaxed atmosphere, bring your own wine and a fantastic mixture of tapas especially if there are two or more people.
Fabulous food. Lovely staff. Absolutely loved it. Was as good as any food we have enjoyed in Spain. Will be back for sure.
A great place to go with friends and enjoy. Sometimes you have to leave even if you don't want to, just because the tables are reserved for the next time slot. Other than that, it's a great place
Great tapas. Awesome atmosphere. Remember to bring your own bottle!
The tapas is the best I've ever tasted. Real food, not like many other tapas places.
