Lovely pub within the heart of the community. 12 to 3 pm 2 meals for £12. Great value for money and food was excellent
Food was so lovely. Demi was so lovely. So attentive. I am gluten free and she made sure everything I ordered was gluten free. Huge choice of gluten free. Parking: Loads of.
Great pub grub. We have been multiple times and it has never failed to impress. The Jolly has a traditional pub menu plus a few other dishes to suit a variety of tastes. Our party of 10 had a variety of things from the menu and enjoyed them all. Portions were large & the food was well presented. Staff were friendly and helpful without being intrusive. Prices were reasonable. The building is all on one level and has a variety of types of tables, with the majority suitable for wheelchair users. Circulation space for wheelchairs is good at most tables & we were allowed to choose where we sat. There is a disabled toilet but access to it from an electric wheelchair is slightly tight. However, staff were more than willing to help with doors etc. Parking: The pub has its own free carpark which can accommodate around 20 cars. There is plenty of free on street parking very close Wheelchair accessibility: The jolly harvester has its own carpark. This is flat & level with no issues for wheelchair lifts. The carpark is tarmac and the entryway is cement making access for both manual & electric wheelchairs good. Entry doors are double pull to open but staff are happy to assist. The building itself is all on one level and has a variety of types of tables, with the majority suitable for wheelchair users. Circulation space for wheelchairs is good at most tables & we were allowed to choose where we sat. Access to our table was easy and we were also asked by staff if we needed the table moved to give even more space. Flooring is mostly hard wood but some areas of carpet. The floor under the carpet is firm so it is not too difficult to self propel on. There is a disabled toilet with emergency cord, grab rails etc but access to it from an electric wheelchair is slightly tight. However, staff were more than willing to help with doors etc. Access from a manual wheelchair would not be a problem.
What friendly staff made us feel really welcome not sure it was us though might been our dogs lots fuss made off them and meal was lovely can't wait to come back down this way to enjoy again Bailey and Guinness say big paws up xxx
Service was lovely, but the server didn't take anything on board and forgot to bring things we asked for. Food was very small portions for pub grub and bit salty, which we highlighted and brushed off by our server, no apologies or offer to replace.. but other than that, it was decent enough for a family dinner. Probably won't go back considering we travelled over an hour for mediocre food. Kid-friendliness: High chair offered
This pub/eatery is a good place for people to eat/drink , nice atmosphere too . Only one barmaid so service was a bit slow but managed ok though . Good selection on the menu although we didn't dine there .Service: 3/5
Staff ,fantastic so polite and helpful, can't say enough about the food ,lovely ,plentiful, and excellent value for money ,would recommend this place anytime
As we approached we were a little out off by it's location but tbh once there it was as good as the reviews, friendly staff and great food in a nice clean environment. Easy flat access with everything on one floor makes it good for those with limited movement and a wide range of options for those of us with food limitations.
Found this pub whilst holidaying in the area, it is on a housing estate, we went for lunch and we were greeted in a pleasant and friendly way, the food was excellent served fairly quickly and we didn’t feel rushed, great atmosphere I would definitely recommend
Great food with large portions. Menu offers dishes for all tastes. Specials also available. Large open bar and restaurant with wide range of both alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks available. Just in middle of a management change so new menu coming soon. Will update when I go back again.
