Hi. Went there for lunch the other day. Do like the new decor. Service was very good and very friendly. However, while the food quality was very good, the quantity can only be described as stingy. We paid top dollar for our meal and left hungry! We will try again in a month or two, to see if things have improved.
One of the best meals I've had out in Dumfries. Excellent service and food. Not rushed and an excellent Whiskey collection as you would expect due to the history attached with this pub/restaurant.
Very interesting place to visit, especially Robert burns bedroom
Lovely atmosphere, cracking food and a great small spot. Only complaint is that it stops serving food at three, but it was lovely when I went for lunch.
Was here on the 12/10/19 for a family meal to celebrate my nieces 18th birthday. The food was excellent served by friendly attentive staff. The upgrade to the premises are great while still retaining the character of the place.
What a wonderful transformation! This is the first time we've celebrated New Year with such a wonderful menu. Thankyou, it was brilliant. xxx
