10/10 would recommend! My partner and I are visiting from Scotland and the Pho here is the best we’ve ever had! We started with the Summer fresh Spring Rolls 2 per portion which were lovely to share just before a well-portioned bowl of Beef Pho. Very authentic tasting, great quality ingredients and a really lovely atmosphere in the place! The lady who seemed to be the owner was very helpful and kind. We finished it off with a Ca Phe Sua Da iced coffee with condensed milk which was strong and sweet so I’d definitely suggest getting it for the end of your meal. If we’re ever in Dublin again, we’ll most certainly come back here! :D
Amazing pho, very cute place, and Jolin is super friendly and fun to chat with! Cannot wait to go back. We got takeout and it was ready to go a few minutes after ordering and came with all the bits on the side.
I was looking around in Portobello around 3pm for a place for food...but seemed most places only open for dinner... Then I found this cute little place in the corner just before the Emmet Bridge... It has outdoor seating in a tiny garden on the side... It serve Chinese...Vietnamese and Thai food... Go ahead and try...you gonna like it...
Beware vegetarians! We ordered tofu salad and vegetarian spring rolls. Both came with chicken see photos. Then on speaking to the restaurant, and seemingly the owner, they refused to believe us and were not willing to help at all. Will never order from here again!
Ordered 2 beef soup noddle for 25 Euro, the beef is to thick and overcooked, the noodle is alright, but the soup has too much oil and the flavor is not right. The owner is really friendly, but to be honest, I can cook better beef pho myself, what you get for your 25 Euro is just entry level home cooking stuff, I will not dare bring this kind of food to my family dinner table. Will not return.
When I arrived I ordered a wok dish with beef. When my meal arrived it came with boiled white rice, I told the lady that I presumed wok dishes comes with noodles, she then flipped out on the defensive saying well that’s other places not here. She was rude intrusive and impolite. I ate what I was given quickly and left. The food was average at best. It overpriced for what I received. I live locally and I will be advising people not to dine at this place. I would never return I’ve had better food from my local takeaway
I liked the quirky and cozy atmosphere of the cafe and the owner was really kind. nonetheless, i would say the taste of Phad Thai was not authentic and the portion of noodle was too little. i wanna try Vietnamese coffee next time :
Place is cute and the Vietnamese Iced coffee is authentic and delicious. Food was meh, nothing special, too bland for our liking. We missed the typical Vietnamese flavours and the zing of the dishes.
Lovely hidden gem! Shared the fresh spring roll with prawns, the vegetable tempura and a beef pho. Everything was delicious and freshly prepared. Will definitely be coming here more often
I ordered to go. The quality of the products were not good. The pho wasn't tasty.
