The location is a bit difficult to find, but it is easy to access if you go from the fish row. It is just the row next to the fish row. Very nice butchers and well service. All meat are listed with price tags clearly. Weight and price calculation presented to you on the scale display. Very reasonable. The quality of meat is good. There are pork, beef, lamb. Lots of choice. Just tell butchers what you want and they can cut the meat according to your need. Recommended.
if only there's a minus 10 rating here. i will definitely rate this one. Very disrespectful salesman. Can be seen in the photo i post Horrendous and uneducated individual. Very uncivilized and racist!!!! I dont tecommend anyone to buy in this shop. Please do not support this business. Let them learn the lesson... i wish them bankrupt in the future.
I bought stewing steak from here on Friday and it was amazing. Beautiful colour, nice big chunks of good quality meat. It cooked beautifully, soft but with a lovely texture. A better price and way better quality than the supermarket fridges, more satisfying to eat all round and more filling- which means better value. I couldn’t resist adding one of their fresh baked hand pies to eat on the way to the bus - delicious. What’s more, the service is so friendly and personable - a delight to end the week. I’ll make the journey more often!
I was told by the proprietor to go where elsewhere if I want meat butchering properly! Go saw it yourself he said- unbelievably hostile attitude when I showed him the sharp daggers of bone shards in the meat caused by using the wrong implements, and chunks of fat and it may be cheaper than some for lamb/goat, but you’ll be throwing away half of it as fat.
I have been using this butcher when I am in Leeds. Often early in the morning before work. Today, Like I have before; I bought a Barnsley Chop. The quality was excellent and formed the basis for the attached image. Barnsley Lamb Chop served with Jersey Royals tossed in butter with fresh Parsley, Sauteed green and helda beans with dill, Fresh pureed tomatoes with marjoram and mint sauce to serve. Highly recommend this butcher. The staff are friendly and without a doubt can rate as 5*.
Visited yesterday and all of the staff were lovely! Bought beef burger patties for great value and they tasted amazing!!! Will be coming back for more!!

Very probably the best butcher in Leeds Kirkgate Market. John, Paul and the lasses are always helpful and provide a great service.
I have bought meat from all of the butchers in the market, this is definitely the best place with excellent quality meat
Nice people , but should cool down on the 10p a bag , customer service is important to improve, publicity
