Got two of these Rump Steak bad boys yesterday, ask for them a little thicker than the normal, which Dean did for me - had them today for lunch, really tender and flavoursome. Got some Lincolnshire sausages and tomato sausages, which I haven't had in years! Proper old school butchers, will definitely go back again, might even had to introduce a steak night at home!! Just to add, in the photo is just one of the steaks!!!
Always great quality and fair prices. Nothing is too much trouble - even bones the chicken thighs for Souvlaki if you ask, and the turkey crown at Christmas was the best we have had. Best place to buy meat in the area.
Doesnt carry 90% of what he advertises outside, bought some regular sausages and the guy significantly short changed me. Wont be visiting again. There's a Morrison's 50 yards down the road with a deli counter that has more choice, better openong hours and wont rip you off, no reason to go here.
Great butcher, very friendly meat is of brilliant quality and he always save bones for my dogs plus there is now a cafe behind the shop and we went in there and had one of his burgers. It was gorgeous
