Spend 5 min arguing about price, twice now..5 casual for £30 I got the card ?! For F*** sake !!! Unhelpfull, miserable and dishonest staff !!! This business doesn't even deserve 1 star !

Disgusting customer service, would not recommend anyone go here. I took in a suit to be dry cleaned, the woman behind the counter took my details since I had not been here before, as well as payment. She gave me a receipt and explained when I could pick up my suit. So far so good. However my return visit to collect my items was not so pleasant. I explained to the man behind the counter (who's badge indicated he was the store manager by the way) that I was there to collect a suit. No response, just a blank stare. I gave in my surname thinking he would look it up on the computer using the details I'd already provided. "Where's your ticket?" he asked. I explained that I wasn't aware the receipt was needed as no one told me this previously and started looking for said receipt. Whilst looking at me like I'm an idiot he asked me "what did you think the ticket was for?". I was a bit dumbfounded by the attitude of this individual and stated again that no one explained this. He asked me for my details and then retrieved the suit within about 30 seconds. Clearly it wasn't so hard to get my items without the receipt after all. He then said "sorry, it's just we get about thirty people a day coming in here without the tickets". I suggested that perhaps if so many people are coming in without the receipts then this needs to be communicated better to new customers. He dismissed my suggestion "no, it's just that people can't be bothered to bring the tickets". At this point I'm fuming and can't believe the way in which I've just been spoken to, so left the store. I can only assume that this individual is bitter at the fact he is working in a dry cleaning store, thus the utter contempt for the customers. Needless to say, I will not be going back here. Plenty of other local alternatives.

They failed 2 years ago, tried again, there is no change. They still don't know how to treat a customer and not cleaning well. Hope I will find another one soon.

Terrible service, I've never left a review online before but felt compelled to. I took in a wool coat with a wrap belt for a small repair on the inside pockets and a dry clean. Went to collect to find the belt was missing, asked about this and the manager insisted that any loose items are recorded on collection. I asked if it was a possibility that there had been an error in recording as I had definitely brought with the belt. He said they'd go check and to come back in a few days. When I returned, the belt was still missing, and to get onto the real issue which was the manager's dealing with the issue. Despite me remaining calm in asking around their process for lost items, he became clearly defensive saying "it's our word against yours and the team member says it would have been recorded". When asking him to consider from my point of view he continued to interrupt me saying there was no belt in the beginning. He was extremely rude and has clearly had no training in customer service as other reviews also suggest. Terrible service and he wouldn't offer a good will gesture on payment of a garment that I'll now need to buy a replacement for, without referring me to customer service. Clearly this manager is used to having to deal with internal errors for him to immediately become defensive, he had a negative attitude (I asked if they could check the cameras which would show there was a belt on to which he didn't even let me finish my suggestion). Don't bother with Johnson's High St, if an item is lost or damaged they will not take responsibility, the manager is an expert in deflecting responsibility and it is clear. Alternatively, use Granada Dry Cleaners on Oldham St, or even Johnson's Cross Street are so much more pleasant and efficient at doing their job.
