Went in today to buy a bottle of gin and a couple of bottles of champagne and wine at the start of our holiday with the intention of restocking before we headed home next weekend. While in the store at the till looking at the bottles behind the counter, I mentioned to my partner that they had rhubarb triangle gin at which point the assistant picked the bottle up and stated to inspect the contents pointing something out to his colleague, completely ignoring the fact I was stood at the till taking about it. No effort was made to engage us in conversation at all! We then had a look online at some of the bottles behind the counter that we were interested in and found them to be between £20-£15 more expensive In the store, a mark up is expected but this is excessive! We are now looking forward to several bottles waiting for our return direct from the suppliers and a couple of trips to local places to pick up our purchases. All in all I would avoid and get much better customer service and value for money by buying direct, it means you can buy more!

Good selection, staff very helpful with wine (which isn't my forte). Could do with more fridges for the beers. Handy for having a few on the beach.

Incredibly well stocked, caters for a more discerning punter. We chatted away with the guys who both happily advised us on a different spiced rum to our favourite Kraken, Black Magic a lovely dark spiced rum. Also tried a few Cornish ciders and surprisingly stocked Paddy whiskey which is difficult to source ! Support this brilliant family ran business and be prepared to be bowled over with great choices of tipples. Thanks !
