Very poor customer service. The staff were extremely miserable from the moment we walked in. No greeting, no smile, and no offer of help at all.nnWhile my daughter was trying on uniforms, a lady with curly grey hair kept watching us and was even whistling right next to us, which felt very uncomfortable and unprofessional.nnWe arrived at 16:00 and the shop closes at 16:30, but that should not be an excuse to treat customers this way. Both the bald gentleman and the lady with curly grey hair looked completely uninterested and not bothered about helping.nnWe were planning to spend at least £300 on uniforms for my daughter, but because of the atmosphere and poor service we decided to leave the shop.nnIf you work in retail, basic customer service matters – greeting customers, being polite and offering help. Unfortunately none of that happened here.nnWe will try ordering from the Altrincham branch instead. After this experience, it is not surprising to see the low Google reviews.
Waited over 10 minutes in line only for the man behind the counter to serve another customer who had just walked in. Customer service is awful. Happy to take my business elsewhere. Was so much better when it was McHughs.
Iv been shopping here for years always great straight forward so long as you purchase your uniform early never had any issues with the Stretford branch. It seems this year they have pushed for online ordering etc so I thought why not to help make life easier well what a joke. Firstly I had no email confirmation of my delivery date or delivery. Which after chasing it up was told it had been delivered and put in my blue bin which by the way had been emptied 3 days before. So after spending hours on the phone to customer service being rold they wouldn't refund me until I raised a complaint with royal mail as they needed a complaint number. After several calls and lots of persistence I managed to get my refund but with only 3 days until school starts my daughter has only 1 jumper instead of the 5 items we ordered . As promised I attempted to get the complaint details from royal mail only to be told the sending company has to raise the complaint so again just being given the run around when they as a company could of easily rectified the issues and kept me as a loyal happy customer. Whatever you do dont order online. Iv never had an issue before and its sad that something like this has know cost me lots of time and money. Looks like my lil one will be starting school in her old uniform and who wants that for your first day back. Im very disappointed to say the least. Something should have been done as no emails where ever sent to confirm or to state a delivery date and to resolve the issue was the biggest palaver ever
Visited today to buy my daughters flixton girls uniform for starting high school. The lady with blonde hair who helped us was absolutely amazing. She was very experienced, kind, and made sure my daughter had all the correct sizes. Nothing was too much trouble, she is a real credit to your shop. Thank you again for all your help, it was very much appreciated
Arrived at the Stretford shop to get a top up of uniform for my son, the sales staff were so unhelpful that I could barely believe it. They had no knowledge and didn’t seem very bothered there wasn’t any stock of the sports kit that we needed, we were advised to order online as they can’t order it in for you!!!!!…..which then incurred a £5 delivery charge. Totally ridiculous and unacceptable. As they are the only stockists so we are left with no choice unfortunately. Also got home to discover that the top that we did buy still has the security tag on, so looks like more petrol costs to go back there! Very very unhappy with the treatment at this store.
