Never visited this butcher before but called in today. Purchased a few things with my son including a 28oz sirloin and a smaller 8oz for my son. Firstly, the staff were very friendly and helpful and the business very clean and tidy. The price for all the meat I purchased was incredible usually paying much more at a local farm shop. I can tell you both steaks were superb, the best I have tasted outside of New York, real melt in the mouth. What an awesome find, I shall be back shortly to purchase more, great butcher.
The best beef brisket I've EVER had.... I rang ahead to check to see if they had any...and spoke to Jamie himself. What a fantastic butchers, the quality and the cleanliness was plain to see. It's always a good sign when you see lots of customers all happily buying. To be honest, I normally buy supermarket meat with my groceries , but not anymore !!! The beef was BEAUTIFUL and it's all gone....my family wolfed it all...there wasn't even any left for the woofer... It's worth going to a quality butcher and buying quality meat... You can tell they know their product, care about quality and are proud of it .
Great meat selections and fair prices. I'm from Southern Africa and I felt at home being able to select and buy meat that I'm familiar with. Customer service was great and the 2 gentlemen behind the counter were very engaging and knowledgeable. Drove quite a fair bit to find this place and will definitely be back
Popped in to the shop today while visiting my parents. Bought a bit more meat than my wife put on the list but that's the freezer full for a few weeks. Bought the meat hamper deal and the quality was spot on as usual. The staff were amazing and helpful and always with a smile. Keep up your good work in the community
Me and my partner get our meat from here every month, and the staff have always been friendly, welcoming and helpful, they suggested doing an online order and collecting which we tried, when we arrived we had to wait 20 minutes as the order was not ready, and once we got home there was meat missing, instantly I emailed and then another two times, someone replied and said that I would be refunded within 5-7 working days, nearly another 2 weeks passed and the money still hadn't been returned, so I have emailed another 2 times and still not had a reply. I'm disappointed in the online service and lack of communication especially when we have had such a great experience in the shop.
Always welcomed when I go to Jamie's Butchers I travel there specifically for the Butchers. Food quality is incredible and always get more than what you pay for. Would definitely recommend It's such a lovely atmosphere to with lovely staff and they always help and support the community. Definitely worth 5 +++++
Travelled just under a hour to visit Jamie's. Was a great service got the Jamie's virgin sticker and as for your scotch eggs worth every penny never had a scotch egg like it absolutely amazing wow the lovely lady next door in the spice shop went above and behind going to the kitchen to get us your scotch eggs. Well worth the travel
I walked into Jamie's Butcher and almost straight out again, I wanted a rib of beef, you used to be able to walk in see a properly priced up size you wanted and buy it, nope.. now its by kg and you have to guess as well as the vors..not even the same size as a pack of eight sausages for a mess that was 7.99, it used to be such a nice amount of vors, good value butchers. Not now.Will not be returning.
What a wonderful butcher's it's quality your spoilt for choice and if they haven't got it you will find it probably doesn't exist. Meat selection is unbelievable also the spice shop next is a must visit place owned by the same people.
A great selection of fresh and tasty produce at competitive prices! Lovely friendly staff too. I go across from Corby just for the biltong sometimes.
