Staff are awful. Use their power to their advantage despite people actually working and having a consistent job. Hate the people. Hate the place. Lack of common human decency
Staff was really rude and unhelpful, we was confused upon entering and the bloke who gave us the introduction wasn't helping us and whenever we awnsered the questions he asked us he replied with a slow and infuriating "right" and even lied to us about having our meeting together saying it was "impossible"
Have been teaching at a local Training agency who take referrals from Tonbridge JC teaching candidates about Employability/Customer Services and Teaching Assistant courses. I have found the feedback about JC staff from the candidates to be very fair and encouraging towards the staff and especially the management at the Job Centre. There are excellent job coaches who really care about their applicants and the manager, Imran has a very positive vision to help place the candidates by building a database of potential local employers/agencies who come to visit my classes on the last day each course I ran and additionally, arranged for each learner to take part in an interview and as a result, they are having fantastic results placing unemployed candidates into work. My part was to motivate and inspire the learners by using my Accelerated Learning teaching techniques which were well received and a pleasure to be using again. Very well done for this innovative approach by Imran and a big thanks to all the staff and especially the Job Coaches who do a fantastic job. Very good luck for the future! Not the worst honestly let's be honest we don't like going because of being judged as lazy I can't make it glamorous this review but some of the staff try so hard. A message for newcomers the Jobcentre anywhere want you off the books into any job. The staff will help recommend but that is it it. Time is money that the way Britain is.
Well, I have never been here before and was totally amazed by the warm welcome and very good service provided. A gentleman named Ady was dealing with my scenario and he showed the human side of the job centre you would never expect, he was 100% brilliant at his job, funny, and very welcoming, so if you get the chance to book at appointment with him you will get a service above and beyond all others, he deserves a bit of recognition for the work he does ...great service with a Smile
Just had the most horrific experience which resulted in me walking out in tears. I went in for help and advice and was made to feel like a pariah because I didn't fully understand how the benefit system works. That is the reason I went in! The woman spoke to me like a piece of dirt. I have never been treated so badly by someone in a service role. Maybe she should be looking for a job more suited to her personality herself!
Some 0f the staff are helpful & kind some of them are do rude they just look down their noses at you as if to say there better than every 1 else
Hope never have the misfortune to visit job centre ever again. Unfriendly,uncaring staff. Make you feel small :o
