The staff at Guildford job centre are Absolutely disgusting. I also have been to the citizens advice bureau. Why do they hate people so much, why do some ‘advisers’ at Job centre have such a hateful attitude to people? They get paid for hating underprivileged people.. I can honestly say, it’s not my fault, my work ended. There are so many people who receive this attitude from Job centre staff…I can’t understand why they think it’s acceptable to treat people like doormats..? If you’re behind the desk it doesn’t mean you are any better than me and have a right to disrespect me without reason. You could be in my position in a second. We need to start taking there names down and reporting them.

I have also had very bad experiences at (Guildford cob centre) and found going there no point at all. It didn't help me to find work at all, it was just a big waste of time. One appointment I was one minute late and explained that my train was late, but the guy was just really short with me. He said you have to be here on time as we only have five minutes for each appointment. They never seemed bothered when I was waiting 30 minutes plus for them to see me. I really think the whole system needs a rethink. It's not like they are saving lives, like police or firemen, or working for the NHS saving people. All they are doing is arranging appointments, getting you to sign your signature, looking up and down at your job search and ticking it off, with some faxing and emails. and taking phone calls. But yet they act as if they are really high up. Most people don't want to be on benefits and want to work. I feel that there isn't enough support for people and they do not understand the problem. I felt so strongly about this i went into Guildford citizens advice bureau and i gave two names of two members of staff that have been unfair , and they said they will investigate and keep there names on file.

If there are any positive reviews i guarantee they will be fake. If i could i would give it zero stars. Guildford job centre is a very unwelcoming place. I do wonder where they get their staff from because the have no manners and face to face they have no people or customer service skills. They make you feel very intimidated. what I can't understand is how on earth these kinds of advisers keep their jobs. If they worked for a major supermarket store or one of the banks, they'd be expected to have basic understanding of acting in a customer service role. I have heard of so many people being treated really badly by jobcentre staff at guildford they have made people cry and it is nothing short of disgusting.

Jobcentre... I despise the place, horrible environment, most of the staff are rude to you and treat you like dirt. There are a few nice ones. They will tell you if you're out of work for 6 months or longer that you are unemployable... Yet after 10 years out of work my partner got a job just like that. I know you may have no choice but to visit this place but beware they're not the nicest bunch of people but you may be lucky...
