This Jobcentre is full of staff that do not have a clue about most things that are standard practice. When I and my wife moved to Cornwall from Binham Norfolk we were advised by Fakenham Jobcentre to get the Jobcentre to stop our JSA claim and put us onto NEA business payments ASAP. The very first time we entered St Austell Jobcentre a staff member called Jenny became abusive towards myself because she did not understand a single thing about the New Enterprise Scheme. I then told her not to speak to myself in that manner and a short security guard came over and told me to exit the building which made matters worst. I was then approached by another security guard all because a member of staff was abusive to me. A week later I got a letter telling me that I am on a warning which was from that Jobcentre of course. The problem was solved when our NEA claim was dealt with by the Fakenham Jobcentre in Norfolk instead after all. My wife and myself then had trouble getting the business loan from GLE Ixion because our business plan was approved in December 2014 in Fakenham and they do not deal with the Cornwall area. So after our business plan clearly stating that our business relied on getting a loan we hit another snag. We was advised to apply for a NEA loan from a loan company who dealt with the Cornwall area by GLE ixion so we did so. After we applied for yet another loan from a Cornwall based and government backed lender we were then turned down by them because GLE ixion had not removed us from their computers. The new loan providers in Cornwall then had conversations with ixion group and after a bit of back and fourth we were told by the Cornwall based loan provider that ixion were going to deal with our loan after all because we were still getting paid by Norfolk Jobcentre due to St Austell Jobcentre not having a clue. I then filled out the 4th loan application online once again only to be refused yet again by GLE ixion group that they do not deal with our area. After months of research and money spent on uniforms and tools we was left with no business and no money and taken off the NEA payments and told to fill in an online JSA claim. I spent half an hour or more filling out a joint JSA claim online and my wife got an appointment by text for Monday 11th May 2015 at St Austell Jobcentre. Monday came and due to being held up asked my wife to call the Jobcentre to explain that we were running a little late. My wife got told that we had to make a new appointment and that it was for a single claim not a joint one. I at this time had parked the car and was outside it while my with was still inside talking. I was very upset about yet again being messed around and started moaning and swearing about the hassle and upset caused by incompetent people and my wife was advised to stop or the staff member would hang up. My wife told the childish staff member that i was not in the car or talking to her but she ignored my wife and hung up regardless. I then had to get back into my car and drive to St Austell Jobcentre only to find 2 security officers blocking my path and telling me that I was not allowed to enter. In the end my wife entered and I stated to the security to call the police and that I will never enter St Austell Jobcentre again. The police came never said much and left and my wife got given a new appointment for tomorrow which is the 12th May 2015. I shall not go and will now be writing to the prime minister to complain about everything that we have had to deal with over the last few months. One more thing you can only complain to the Jobcentre you sign at so all complaints are dealt with by the offending Jobcentre so it all keeps in house and swept under the carpet. You will never win and will be treated how the staff want to treat you and until a independent complaints department is appointed you will get no justice or be treated fairly.
