I'm not a fan of automated phone systems, especially when the robot can't understand what you're saying, resulting in the classic: "You want XYZ, is this correct?" ..."NO!?!". That said HMRC's human operators went out of their way to be helpful once I got through to them.

This shouldn't even get one star I have been waiting on the phone for over one hour to sort my tax out cause I'm being charged to much..and now have to go to work it's bloody ridiculous how they can charge you to phone them when they don't even answer the phone. I'm not happy at all

Absolutely dreadful, I have been left waiting on phone for at least 20 mins , with a voice interruption of ' thanks for waiting , one of our advisors will be with you shortly'
