Walked into the building, and was greeted by a woman who asked what I was looking for. I said I would just check the name of the person who was interviewing me on my phone, and I got told 'you really should know all the details before you come in so we can avoid wasting time'... Jesus Christ, I hadn't even been in there 1 minute and apparently I'm wasting time! The s***ty attitude carried on throughout the rest our conversation until I went upstairs. If I wasn't nervous for my interview I would've told her where she could stick her attitude.

*(Read latest update below this one, they've moved) - Job advisors are apathetic, unhelpful, and one is particularly insincere in getting you work, they don't listen to your concerns, and seem to want you to go as quickly as possible, if you're over fifty, forget it, you become invisible to them, they're only interested in helping younger people. *Update - They've moved now to Temple St...., now when I sign on I see this very annoying, tetchy, combative, argumentative, unhelpful, unlistening, unrelaxed, unsympathetic jobcentre staff woman who works there! If Google review site had a massive sad faced 'Emoji' I could use here, believe me I would place it here at the end of my review, in a flash! 'SAD FACE PLACE HERE!'

When I was struggling to find standard work my adviser took time to listen to what I had to say and after a couple of months was able to get me on a scheme to get my own business @OPFilmAndPhotography fully off the ground. Schemes like this are helping to make my dream job a reality and I continue to get support in the first year of my business which is vital. I'm now into the 6 month mark of the program and even though being self employed is a lot of work its incredibly rewarding. The workshops they have hosted for things like networking, income tax, marketing and so on have been really helpful.

Interview was on time. Relatively painless experience. Staff were friendly - wouldn’t expect any more.

The staff are not helpful in any way. I was calming JSA, AND FROM THE VERY BEGINNING THEY SCREWED UP MY APPLICATION (the claim was closed down). Their is a staff member called HAMMAD (who screwed my JSA!!) where I submitted 4 application forms to him and he did not pass them on to the department, where my claim could of been made! Instead they closed my claim, without informing me about how they lost my application forms. These people are horrible & cowards, playing about with peoples lives. The system is insufficient and no one should be paying their taxes for this (waste of public money!!!) because they are not helping people!
