If I could give this place Zero stars I would. I live in East London but apparently my case worker is based in Basildon. I have been trying to get an appointment at my local Job Centre in order to get a sanction removed from my Universal Credit claim. But I have been completely ignored for the last 14 weeks since it was imposed. No income for 3 and a half months. How on earth do they imagine we are able to survive like this. These people are overpaid and cruel, I hope they find themselves on benefits sometime and some nasty individual has fun tormenting them like they have tormented me. What is wrong with these people? Just do your job and stop abusing people who have no choice but to claim benefits. you are disgusting.
Want to know why it’s so hard to get benefits from Basildon DWP, have friends who live in other Boroughs who don’t have none of the problems I do and receive all the benefits they are entitled to, but me nothing but problems like they want a utilities bill like gas, electric or landline to proof I share a Private rented house with my brother most of the bills are in he’s name apart from my BT landline bill which they refuse, I had to refill the housing statement four times where they keep nitpicking instead of helping, now they want me to phone for the third time to book a Commitments meeting because they won’t give me a date over the phone but would rather put it in the Journal but so far haven’t, I don’t want to sign on, I’m a lot happier working I even took a temp Xmas job which has now ended so at this moment with the cost of living and the building trade having a tough time and being unlucky I really have no option but to sign on.
The man at desk 38 in basildon jobcentre was so rude to son tlked to him in a innapropriate way as if his allowed to wined up 18 year old he was needing support not sarcasm,, i will be making a serious complaint this building and staff has gone down so bad why is it still open ,
Staff were very helpful...I had John and Angela front of house and they were knowlagable kind and professional. As a disabled lady I only go out when I absolutely have too.....I am always in pain and everyone at the local job centre did their best to accomadate me and make me comfortable. So much better than the last time I went.......when it was in the old location. I needed to see someone from Basildo council too.....so much easier with it all in one place. I spoke to a lovely gentleman called Micheal who was very helpful and professional too. All in all I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly kindly and professionally I was dealt with and was soon on my way home.
Security assult a man and the.manager won't listen and has a go at him. Both security and the manager need to be sacked
