A true Irish experience! A hotel above a pub oh my. It was great!! Locals and employees so kind and hospitable. Wonderful fish n chips nearby and oh… Wexford strawberries!
Manager Jenna, together with her daughter Emma, was thrown out of the hotel room, to which refugees from Ukraine were sent from City West at 23:20 without explanation. There is also a downside to good-natured Ireland.Rooms: 5/5
We were there for two months as Ukrainian refugees. It so warm and comfortable plase And Linn, Rose and Dave are wonderful guys! Nearby activities: McGees is located in the centre of Wexford, 3 min from the Main Street. It has own car parking.
Doesn't do breakfast but lots of options nearby.. bar great spot very friendly staff and locals. Guinness superb.. yes music at night but didn't bother us... earplugs provided and quite nice to listen to as went to sleep... It's a Pub!! Room clean and well presented on suite toilet and shower again very clean. Secure parking... Definitely stay again
Beautiful rooms, good location, nice staff, don't serve food. But walking distance to other places nearby. The only down side of staying in superior rooms in the courtyard, is the heating is on a timer and it is freezing out there. Had to wait for the heating to come on to have shower it's that cold.Rooms: 5/5
7th of October 2022. Have been here a few times and always enjoy my stay, the staff are lovely the rooms are lovely and clean, they don't do food but there are plenty of places 5/10 minute walk away. Bonus is it's not expensive to stay, happy customers as Arnie says" I'll be back" Rooms: Lovely, spacious and clean Safety: As safe as anywhere. Walkability: 5/10 minute walk from the Town.
I booked based on the picture THEY show. Instead it was a creaky, noisy, above bar room that is the smallest we've had in the last 18 days of travel. I've seen motor homes with larger bathroom sinks. The bathroom door banged into the bed. There wasn't enough room to open our two suitcases. We looked out onto roofs. Accessible by many up and down staircases. The provided parking was full. Internet was poor. Nice thing, location is only a few blocks from Main Street and the bar guys were easy about providing us with nice full glasses of ICE! something that's rare in Ireland, which we've loved.
Beautiful room, spotlessly clean, central location yet quiet, lovely bar and very friendlybar staff. Lovely toiletries in the bathroom. Tea/coffee making facilities, bottled water, hairdryer. Very comfortable bed. Can not recommend highly enough, this is the place to stay when in Wexford, don't miss it!!Rooms: 5/5
This place is amazing. Stayed in a room above and it was great as well. I guess it could be loud but I was down at the bar until it closed because the staff there and the locals are so much fun. If you can, do yourself a favor a stay here or at least come in for a pint! It was my first night in Ireland and it set the bar very high!
Excellent spot for a night out. Room was a bit small but other than that everything else was excellent. The bar is fantastic with both locals and blow-ins like myself .. well worth a visit!!Rooms: 4/5
