We recently had our Christmas Eve dinner here and it was lovely and there was a good atmosphere there. I had a lunchtime meal here two months earlier.
Great food, very friendly staff, nice atmosphere with indoor and outdoor seating. We shared a chowder as a starter and were almost full just from the one bowl between 2 of us, plus generous servings of brown bread . We had the sandwich special of the day, turkey, stuffing, cheese with cranberry mayo. Bread was excellent, fries/chips were hot, slaw could use a little less mayo. Service was friendly and prompt, best service we've had so far on this trip.
The restaurant itself was nice but the food was miserable. I got my food and thought they had forgotten the rest of my burger. There wasn't a single bit of lettuce, tomato or onion. Even McDonalds puts veg on their burgers. And the waiters constantly asked for our bill 30 minutes before closing.
We had a lunch today. The place was absolutely freezing and boring. The food was average. Unfortunately a quality of Service is so low. Never back again!!!
Service was amazing and food arrived so quickly. Only had a quick bite for lunch but it was very good.
Great visit to Wexford. Staff were so nice and helpful made us feel very welcome Food good and Sunday Afternoon entertainment. A brilliant visit.
Great to get back here and have some wonderful food, and of course, a pint. Staff as diligent and friendly as always.
Popped in on way to our Xmas do 6.30 on a sat night, front bar was very quiet mackens and Maggie mays were too full to get in but it was warm, staff were lovely, and the hot ports went down well.
Went for lunch here today Staff couldn't be more polite and the food was just gorgeous!
This place is fantastic either during the day, or late at night. They stop serving food at 7pm though just beware. The atmosphere is the best I have experienced in Wexford so far. There was a lot of live music. On Sunday afternoon, there was a trad band playing and sitting among the crowds. It was an experience you wouldn't get in other places. The decor is great too, lots of real flowers growing from the rafters. Great friendly service too!
