I've used JF Financial's services for over a year now after some less than perfect experiences with other firms. From the start John and his team have not only been incredibly professional but their knowledge is second to none. As a freelancer in the creative industry it's great to have someone who takes the time to understand your business and can provide exceptional guidance and support.
I have changed to John Falcon and his small team recently after many years with another accountant who overlooked an important and costly issue. They have so far completed a VAT return and our tax return. The software they now have to use under the government's "Making everything digital" scheme is straight forward also for a digitial non native like myself. Any beginner problems and John will send you a mini personalized video to support you. I like their mixture of professionalism and friendliness. Highly recommended! I first engaged with John to help me with my personal accounting and provide tax advice as a sole trader at the start of 2013. John understands that not everyone is an accountant which I found really helpful as everything was explained very simply and clearly - I always know where I stand and what is expected of me. After working with him for a number of months I decided to move the accounting for my small business over to him too. His knowledge of accounting for small business and past experience growing businesses as well as having worked in much larger organisations means that he is a fantastic asset in helping me grow my business.
John and his team have been fantastic helping me through every step of getting set up as a freelancer.
