Excellent multi-storey second-hand bookshop. Coffee and tea at small cost too if required. Very friendly service.

Highly recommended! So glad to see places like this still exist. This is a lovely bookshop: 1) well stocked compared to others around the UK, 2) the staff are very helpful and knowledgeable, 3) it's close to the centre of town, and 4) there's a fireplace going in winter (!). I see recently that they've started serving tea/coffee too. My literary tastes are for general fiction and science-fiction and I find that they stock many well sought after books. Two thumbs up!

Old books too poor in conditions so not suitable for them but looked at with interest and advice given. Friendly and helpful.

Best bookshop ever. Authentic, aesthetic and that's just the shop. Fabulous range of books too! Bookshops like this are in short supply and the staff are always wonderful. A true treasure trove nestled in the city centre.

A lovely bookshop where you can happily browse then sit down next to a glowing fire and enjoy a cup of tea and cake. Jermy and Westerman is everything a bookshop should be: floors of books over a wide range of subjects, excellent value and a warm welcome. Sadly, such bookshops are a rarity nowadays.
