From the initial meeting to discuss Dad’s funeral we were put at ease with any worries we had. Amanda was so empathetic and nothing was too much trouble. I was amazed that they arranged everything to make it easy for us. The professionalism was comforting and they appreciated our requests, everything was so smooth from start to finish, communication was excellent and nothing seemed too much trouble. They accommodated our Dog who has separation issues and made her so welcome and even volunteered to look after her on day of funeral at their offices…. Way above and beyond! Hollie was fantastic on the funeral day and looked after us throughout the ceremony… so professional and friendly! Glad we chose Jennings and would certainly recommend. Thank you everyone
When my beloved Mom passed away just before Christmas and in line with Moms wishes we contacted Jennings Funeral Directors to arrange her final journey. You only get one chance at giving a loved one the perfectly fitting bespoke service that they deserve and that is most definitely what we and Hollie from Jennings were able to work together to create and all our wishes were met with a respectful, positive ‘can do’ attitude. From the initial appointment with Hollie, the subsequent appointments, to being driven away from the service by her, Hollie exceeded any customer service levels that we’d ever experienced. As a family we have always used Jennings Funeral Directors and we all agree that Hollie is a true credit to the company. Thanks to everyone at Jennings and particularly to Hollie for helping us do Mom proud.
From the initial contact with Hollie and then Michelle for the organising of my late cousins funeral, both very reassuring. Special mention for Hollie on the day, she carried out special request I had made and was very professional and put me very much at ease cannot thank jennings enough for service they provided.
From the very first moment we spoke to Jennings they were amazing we had never experienced having to arrange a funeral but we were looked after and guided throughout special thanks to Amanda she has been amazing throughout she has looked after our dad and us I know people say it’s there job but we never felt like she was just doing her job she went that extra mile always to make us feel at ease and give dad the send of he deserved special thanks to Pete on the day of the funeral those special touches we will forever remember you will never know how much they meant to us a family truly amazing my dad have the send of he deserved so we could ask for no more ThAnkyou so much for everything x John Goodwins family x
Professional from start to finish, this was our first experience of dealing with a funeral,amanda put us all at ease from the beginning and kept the family up to date with all the arrangements,and looked after our dad/husband with the up most respect,Peter added personal touches for our family during the service which added to a beautiful send off for our loved one and ensuring the day went smoothly,we want to say Thankyou to all the team for helping giving our dad the best send off he deserved.
Our experience with the way the funeral of cousin. miss Irene Leary was handled was extremely helpful.Hollie especially gave us the confidence and understanding that we very much appreciated.she gently walked us through the arrangements and answered any questions we needed to ask .it was a beautiful service . thank you Hollie you went above and beyond our expectations
I would highly recommend Jennings to anyone who has suffered a bereavement. From start to finish they are so professional and very caring and understanding to how you are feeling during your loss.We would especially like to thank Michelle and Mitch who are a credit to Jennings also to Les who was the vicar to my late aunt's funeral who i found very caring and compassionate in his job. Myself and other family members have funeral plans with Jennings and hopefully won't need to use them for a very long time. From David and partner Sarah x
I would like to say a big thank you to the colleagues at St James House Chaple of Rest. I went to say my farewell to my mum on Wednessday the two ladies who looked after me and daughter are beautiful people. They allowed me to put our floral tribute onto the casket so we could tell mum about the different meaning of the 3 arrangements. Thank you x
Seriously over priced when compared to other providers. I’m not being critical of the service they provide as they where very professional but my 87yr old mother in law felt pressured into paying 12k for a funeral she could have gotten for half that price. Their ‘adviser kept saying things like “don’t you think your husband deserves better”. Clearly a pressure sales tactic and appalling conduct in my opinion.
Lisa / Pete, On behalf of my family and I, may I thank you for the most professional and respectful service you could have offered my mother. From start to finish, it was seamless. I cannot thank you enough, nor, can I put into words how impressed all parties were. Pete and his team made an extremely emotional day, a happy day and I cannot thank him enough. Lisa - many thanks for all of the behind the scenes hard work too.
