Considering Jempson’s is a ‘local’ store it was deeply depressing to discover they have installed self service screens. As with other stores that have installed these, I will be doing my best to avoid them now. Maybe they should consider that if they want to differentiate themselves from faceless corporations perhaps copying them isn’t the best way to go
I don't find the staff friendly here at all. It always puts me off visiting and shopping in store. The Coop in the village is much friendlier. The only advantage of this store is that they have a Post Office.

Most Staff very friendly, but the products have gone down hill since you changed to Morrisons, a lot of the fruit is not good I brought some little oranges the other day and was no good by the next day. Jempson's meat has always been very good and that doesn't seem to have changed.
Poor quality fruit and veg. Under baked loaves and dry overbaked cakes. Friendly staff does not make up for the poor quality and the extortionate prices.
