Not best impression for 1st time. In this Store.went to pay for item card declined then assistant went you will just be leaving it. No I have another card which was declined she then went oh well I can help you . Went to another sports shop no issues with cards so it's possibly your machines

Had to return some crocs. The manager was really lovely and helpful, and as I had a payment in 3 through PayPal, he filled out all the necessary forms, even my form. Really helpful and pleasant. Store is immaculate and easy to find what you need.
Ordered online and promised a same day delivery. Didn’t happen, had to travel back into Newcastle next day. Then shoes that arrived wrong size. Offered an alternative colour and asked to pay a £10 difference. Previously before handing me over the manager said he’d cover the difference. I didn’t even like the alternative colour. It’s not a cost issue, it’s a customer service issue. Ten quid is nether here nor there, its how you look after customers. Caring about people. I would have taken the alternative for ease but messing people around like that. I took a refund and said thank you. Now waiting for a bus home. Complete waste of an afternoon.
Went to buy some shoes that were in sale along with friends and clearly on sale with the round sale tag. So Went to try them on lady was lovely, decided they were great for being on sale to the lady but got to the till and then they tried to charge me full price. Don't know if they had removed the sale tag in the back when retrieving the other shoe realising they had made a mistake marking it down?? or its come off whilst grabbing them but to pretend it wasn't on sale at all with all the other same branded shoe was abit disheartening and to be treated like I was seeing things was also disheartening I had friends that saw it to and even people who were shopping for the same brand in that area before I picked them up also. Safe to say next time I'll take a picture of proof before purchasing
Great Gear, but my Biggest Gripe: Why the hell can I not use my Blue Light Card in-store????
Customer service is absolutely shocking. Think they need training in basic manners. I went in and asked where the women's shoes were then because i didn't hear her properly i asked again if they we upstairs and my response from her was as if she had to go out of her way to repeat herself. I had loads on my mind and was so tired from my early shift at work i simply wanted to cheer myself up and look at some new trainers. But she instantly put me in the worst mood. I would never normally right a review but there was just no need. Costs absolutely nothing to be nice. Great choice of active wear/shoes etc but service is awful
Absolutely no staff to be seen and when I found one they wouldn't send an e-receipt despite advertising it everywhere.
Bought a pair of slip in Skechers, the most comfortable footwear I have ever had.
Went for a swim in the river time, don't know for how long icl. However this is a great JD.
