Great little place to sit and watch the world go buy

Great for the kids, a little bit of the seaside in the city centre my little one loved it and if you go down on a sunday there are loads of food stalls and quirky stalls. Plenty of restaurants and a Gregg's if you prefer a pie looking at the view the choice is yours. Definitely recommend.

Love seeing this appear ever year! It's so different and great to see so many people using it! Plus what other beach gets such amazing views of the quayside!?

Wow, what an idea and props to Newcastle water for such an excellent opportunity for locals and travellers to experience and enjoy. A small beach area with play things for children and deck chairs for adults alike. Really, really cannot say how fantastic it is. Well done, go and enjoy

Was here with my  wife & 2year old great  grandchild yesterday. This part of the quayside in front of the law courts is always turned into a mini beach in the summer  with real sand & supplies of spades & buckets for the children & deckchairs for the adults all free. RECOMMENDED

nice place for a sunny day with your camera

A seaside on the quayside well in land. I love it. So do loads of others. Not a better spot to take a break when the weathers good
