We had beef rendang, beef dendeng, ketoprak, and ayam penyet, and all was satisfying! The new staffs are more friendly & professional than it used to be.. and the service is much more faster also. The new layout and tone also gives fresher feel. Congratulations on the re-opening!!! Definitely would go back and refer other friends to have a taste of Indonesian food here. Me my self? Will be back soon..
Good food, better than you'd expect from outside - or inside. Wouldn't cross London for it, but better than many, and ok price. Can come away smelling of food a bit after sitting inside with closed doors though, might be better enjoyed as delivery or take away. But - good flavours and well executed, better than you'd expect from the surroundings.
Delicious rendang & dendeng beef! Served with extra spicy exotic savoury soup gulai/pakis vegetable. The cincau syrup could be better, though. Would love to come back again to taste the chicken cotto and ketoprak--anndd their newly served Japanese menu!
I stumbled across Japindo by chance, went into the restaurant and tried the special sushi roll and the Indonesian main dish which came with chicken, beef rendang, veg, rice and a side soup, it was very tasty and fresh. Today I ordered a takeaway via their website, went for the special rolls and both were on point, glad to find someone local that do food good/well, keep it up!
This has been a regular eating place for me over recent months. It may be off the beaten track but we'll worth the visit. The food is varied, tasty and prepared with all fresh ingredients. Personal favourite is the beef rendang!
During these Covid-19 times, I am making a conscientious decision to buy and support 'Local' businesses. Unfortunately, today, big mistake. And it gives me no pleasure in writing that. The food was poor. And not value for money, either. The only items that were passable were deep fried items like Spring Rolls. The rest was gross. Eg, Sushi - seafood sushi included "seafood" like crabstick. Not actual crab. I am talking Morrisons £1 value quality crabstick. The Udon was stodgy & chicken meat didnt taste fresh either. On a side note- not that it matters, but worth pointing out- establishment wasn't run by anyone Japanese or East Asian, but Bangladeshis. £57 wasted. In short- AVOID.
Fantastic place. Traditional Indonesian dishes with few Japanese classics. Very clean, simple and great value. Super friendly service . Highly recommended !
Came here because of the reviews and stayed for the unbelievable tasty food. These guys are doing a great job
This is Warung Padang renamed, and now offering a Japanese menu alongside Indonesian food. Try the banana fritters
Nice clean and simple little place, very friendly staff. The food is great and reasonably priced
