We are a complete house furnishers established in 1938. Our showroom has a mix of traditional furniture with a mix of Vintage pieces, some of which are re-furbished and re-upholstered to bring them up-to-date.
There are lots of llittle vintage accessories to give as a gift or keep for yourself. The business has its own workroom at the back of the shop where we make all our 'JTY' gifts and accessories. We also carry out our main sewing and upholstery projects for customers, using the wide range of fabrics we have to offer from many of the major companies.
As well as our main showroom and fabric room with all the beautiful fabrics and co-ordinating wallpapers, we have our carpet room with samples from top end carpet companies.
James T Young & Co offer a full measure and fitting service and happy to offer advise from a simple cushion to a full room design.
