I Bought a suit and within the first few weeks, the stitching went on the back. I took it back and was told by the assistant that stitching isn't covered and I'd have to pay for a repair. I explained I had only recently bought the suit and it was down to faulty workmanship but the assistant was adamant. I didn't want to just throw away an otherwise good suit so I asked how much to repair it. He told me £3. I nearly popped, you mean you've been heavy handed with me over £3 on a £300 suit? I thought I was in for £30 but I didn't see why I should have to pay for faulty workmanship. But arguing with me over £3, you're wasting my time! I took my suit to be repaired elsewhere and have never bought another Jaeger suit since.
This outlet is within John Lewis store. Good collection.
