We ordered two J2O's, a lime and soda, and an order of pork scratching and sat out on the patio. It was absolutely perfect. A nice view with quite surroundings and an occasional car.
Great place, and fabulous food, we had to wait a while but it was really worth it. Will be going again soon.
Had lunch with our friends after their marriage ceremony last week and it was lovely! Food was great and service excellent - they even took some photos for us!
Great food. A pint is well over a fiver, so I don't bother, shame. But will call again for food only next week.
So this was our 2nd visit. Great food great service. Very clean. Prices fair. I have tried 2 different starter's. 2 different mains. Spot on both times. Definitely come back. Highly recommended.
A wedding and function based hotel Rogerthorpe Manor Hotel that made us welcome as a pair of visitors not at a function. Jacobean Pub is the dining area and breakfast area of the hotel as well as the main bar. Food is well cooked with a good selection and generous portions. Staff were excellent, helpful and pleasant. Grade one listed building, parts of which are Jacobean.
Didn't like our meals. Black dishes and black gravy and took ages to be served. I think it must have been chefs night off
Good meal, reasonably priced and good service. Not been for ages but will go again. Rooms are attractively priced so a good overspill for guests/ friends in the area
Lovely surroundings enjoyed a drink outside before our delicious meal inside, an excellent choice of food, didn't have to wait long and was it worth waiting for, hot, very tasty, absolutely perfect well done.
Sunday dinner was just about OK . Yorkshire pudding was cold ,rest of dinner just warm. Plenty on plate but had a lot better.
