Novice walker needing to upgrade my boots. Was offered several pairs. Allowed to try on as many pairs as I wanted in varying sizes to make sure I got best fit. Great old fashioned service with up to the minute knowledge of the widest range of products. For a snug little shop it carried everything needed in all sizes. I’ve shopped in the heart of Edinburgh in places renown for walkers and their stocks nor their knowledge of what I needed were nothing to compare to this first class family run shop. I wish them every success with this brilliant shop and their new arrival.

This establishment is like a part of my childhood and adulthood, for the outdoors sports if it isn't here, it hasn't been invented yet, my first everything was bought here, from brushes to jodhpurs, recently a new family have taken over the reigns, but none of the olde world integrity has been removed, in fact first class service anytime I've been in recently, so happy some things remain the same... Simply Ace !
