Based just by Great Portland Street Tube and very close to Regents Park, Istanbul Cafe & Bistro has become one of the best kept secrets for Turkish cuisine in London's West End quarter. For many years now, we have been amazing customers with our range of homemade, authentic Mediterranean cuisine using traditional recipes.

Came here for a breakfast sandwich to takeaway. The options were limited brown or white bread but no roll or baguette and I was not offered sauces. Price was typical for London. I think this venue is far better as a sit in restaurant for Turkish food than it is for breakfast takeaway.Food: 4/5
Visited today at around 1 and decided to try English breakfast halal. It was by far best halal English breakfast I have tried in london. We also ordered smoked salmon panini. Portion size was generous and justified with price. Ambiance was cosy and clean.Food: 5/5
WOW! What a sensational meal. Hats off to the chef & kitchen. We have travelled consecutively through Dubai, Greece, Italy, Malta, Spain, France and now in London, and we have had some amazing meals. But Istanbul takes the top position of the best meal we've eaten. So much flavour, tender, and the best hummus, tzatziki and tabbouleh we have EVER eaten. We are from Australia and feel so lucky we picked to eat dinner at Istanbul Cafe & Bistro. The service was impeccable and the atmosphere beautiful. The entire business deserves so many accolades and awards. I hope I can return soon. 100/10 !!
I have driven passed this restaurant for years and have always wanted to visit - finally that has happened! Our pre-theatre dinner was so lovey. Big portions. Authentic Turkish food. Excellent service. I would definitely visit again.Food: 5/5
One of the best restaurants I have been to in a long time. Had the set menu with the avocado and tomato salad and the Chicken Ali Nazek, both amazing, especially accompanied by their chilli sauce which was maybe the best I’ve ever had. Even the orange juice was amazing! My wife just had the Humous which was also top draw. The staff were also lovely and very accommodating.

I had a long day and was desperate for fresh, quality food to take away to my hotel. I accidentally stumbled upon this bistro and was met with friendly, warm, and caring true hospitality. A quick takeaway turned into a beautifully presented Turkish tea, a bag full of amazingly delicious food, and me wishing I could enjoy this gem for the entire evening. I'll be back.

Pleasant and cosy atmosphere, tasty food, big portions. We had a lovely dinner with our kids. The service was super attentive and child friendly. Our kids are rather picky when it comes to food, but they ate pasta bolognese with appetite! My husband and I took their special deal 2-course-meal each and it was delicious and filling! Perfect end to a tiresome day after taking kids to the zoo.
