It was a lovely experience overall dining at Portland. Delicious food with beautiful plating and heartfelt table service plus a very lovely birthday surprise for my friend. The duck breast and crab ravioli were impressive. Would love to go again for the tasty menu.Food: 5/5
We went here for a friend’s 40th and did the set menu in the private dining room. They are absolutely worth of their Michelin star and every dish was perfect and hit the right notes. The crab raviolo was the star of the night for me!Food: 5/5
What a wonderful place to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The tasting menu with wine flight was superb. Delicious exquisite courses of wonderful creations. However the personal touch of anniversary card from the staff and the wonderful personal interaction from the staff made this all the more special for us. A very memorable evening for all the right reasons. Thank you!!
My husband took me as part of my birthday week and we had such a wonderful experience. When we arrived, there was a birthday card on the table signed by everyone that works there which I thought was such a lovely touch. The food was absolutely divine and the service was impeccable. We had the 3 course lunch menu and it was great value. We hadn’t even finished and we were talking about when we could go back! At the end of the meal they gave me a pot of homemade honey as a birthday gift. Will definitely be visiting again.
Did the lunch tasting menu with matching wine this last Saturday , belated birthday celebrations. The welcome started out well with the staff giving me a birthday card signed by the staff, an excellent gesture. As you can see on the photos the food was beautiful, as a bonus it even tasted impeccable. Service was relaxed but very professional, not a fault in sight. I can easily recommend Portland.
Such a a wonderful experience. The service is impeccable, professional and yet very welcoming and knowledgeable. All the staff has been extremely nice, I particularly enjoyed Matt's wine presentation ! We got the tasting menu and wine paring, which was delicious and very surprising. The Mackerel dish has been incredibly tasty and will for sure stick to my memory for a long time! Also the appetizers have been quite interesting. couldn't recommend more for a special night! And thanks to all the staff for the birthday wishes .
Had a warm experience and the food was good. Had a starter, mains and desert, the tasting menu of six course may have been a better option. P.S: I did like the snack options though, cute little stuffs to bite, oh, and the bread
I’ve never had food like this before. The staff are really nice and what the chef has creating is some of the most magical dishes I’ve ever tasted. It’s hard to compare it with anything else that’s out there. The price is also really good for the level of quality of food you’re getting.Food: 5/5
This was food art. So beautiful, so delicious and the staff were friendly and funny which made the atmosphere cosy and unpretentious. The chef and cooks have so much talent and were simply delighted to share which was delightful. Not only that, anyone including us! who was celebrating an occasion received a handwritten card signed by all staff. Just a great experience 100/10 would recommend.
Such a lovely evening spent in Portland. Friend booked dinner here and I ashamedly hadn’t heard of them before. They have a simple set menu approach with 3 courses to Taster Menu. A mix of dishes to cater for most tastes. Restaurant itself has a simple decor with an open bar and kitchen area which lets you see the magic happen. Staff are friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. They are there when needed but otherwise execute their role with little fuss. Food is delicious, well prepared and beautifully presented. Great wine and drinks list cap it all off. Good value for what it offers and well deserving of the Michelin star it has been awarded. Get yourself here before they win another and the prices inevitably go up!
