A great place for a day out. The day ticket includes travel on the train and admissions to their Museum and Story attractions. Great for a rainy day.

A really lovely steam railway with friendly staff and a lovely quite area for lunch. Also has a wonderful history in the museum.

Enjoyed the ride on the steam train and sitting in the old carriages passing through the green country side. Well worth the money and time spent. The staff were very co-operative and helpful. Small cafe next to the station platform and an ice-cream stall next to it for hot summer days. The weather was perfect when we went so it was quite an enjoyable experience. They had a Bird of Prey centre next to the station who put on quite a show. It was comical to see a rusty tube train running alongside.

Lovely day out. Lots to do, enthusiastic staff. Lovely engines beautifully restored.
