Lovely donkey sanctuary. Coffee shop and farm shop also on the property, or bring your own food for a picnic. You cannot feed the donkeys. Donkeys seem well cared for. The bus stops right outside.
Highly recommend visiting the donkey sanctuary, free entry, the donkeys are well cared for and on a summers day it really is beautiful. we even adopted a donkey for a monthly fee. There are plenty of walks around and these donkeys do make you smile, give them a visit and pay a small donation.
Friendly staff and plenty of car parking! lots of donkey. I visited with 12months baby she love the donkey. we had a fun. if you visit only for donkey will take 30-60min should be enough. they have very good cafe as well.
Been here twice and had a great time with family. Good food, live music and free entry. Always leave a donation as they do fantastic work.
Free entry! You get a leaflet with map and a sheet with all the donkeys to spot and tick off. All for free. Great cakes in the cafe and possible to groom a donkey for £10. On the number 3 bus route and free parking
This donkey sanctuary really is just that a perfect sanctuary . The donkeys look happy and well cared for with lots of room to play and roam. Staff were very knowledgeable, and there was a board with all the donkeys' names on for adoption. Please go and support these beautiful donkeys
I highly recommend this place. The only place I know to be free to get in and park !! I put in a big donation though as they need all customer support to help survive all their 109 donkeys!! Such a lovely place to come and stroll and have some lunch with a great cafe and shop. Will definitely be back and would even volunteer myself if I ever lived on the island!
A nice place to visit and clearly a great environment for the donkeys. There is a cafe serving good coffee, cake and lunch options. Parking is plentiful too. It's free entry, so you need to make a donation to help pay for the upkeep. Well worth a visit. Set aside a couple of hours, have lunch or a snack and enjoy these lovely animals.
We enjoyed our visit here. The sanctuary is spread over a couple of acres, so good weather is definitely a bonus. You will be outdoors, so be sure to dress appropriately. All the paddocks have wheelchair accessible paths. There is a nice cafe with good seating areas both inside and out, all of which are wheelchair accessible. There are toilets outside with steps, but those in the cafe are at ground level. I would like to have seen more people on hand to explain the project and give personal details of the animals. All detail is via signage that is difficult to relate to the animals in the paddocks. All in all, it's a nice family visit which will take up approximately 1 to 2 hours.
Free entry to visit these gorgeous donkeys, all rescues and so well looked after. There is a gift shop and a very lovely cafe, cake and coffee was perfect.
