Just spent the last four days at the Isle of Avalon Touring park and found it an excellent site despite the very wet weather conditions. It is only 10 minutes walk from the town centre and the on site facilities are excellent. The recently refurbished shower block has superb resources and the heating system means that even at this time of year a shower is a pleasure. On my arrival, I was greeted by Chris who was manning the reception desk. He gave me full details about the site and things to do in the local area. The site is very well positioned for visiting the numerous bird reserves on the Levels.
Very convenient location with a short walk to town. The site is well kept with the best toilet & shower facilities I’ve come across at a campsite. Shop is well stoked with the essentials & some locally produced treats & a barista coffee machine. Site owners are also friendly & helpful. I would 100% recommend this site if you want to explore the Glastonbury area!
We had a lovely experience when we stayed for a weekend. The site is very clean and well kept. The toilet and shower block has recently been refurbished and is very smart and the showers are the first to actually provide enough hooks and an isolated seat to put your clothes and changing bag. The new check in and shop has a great range of local goodies including fresh bread and ales and ciders to indulge in. The male host, sorry I am rubbish with remembering names lol, was very friendly and helpfull and is a real asset to the business. The site is ideally located for a short walk into wonderful Glastonbury. Can't wait to find the time stay again
Been a few times, lovely site with beautiful facilities. Really clean and well kept grounds. We spent the weekend and used the bikes for hire, had a great ride out to the nature reserve. Great location for exploring
Great place to stay, very quiet and laid back. I've been many times and has been great. The toilets and showers have been recently updated and are amazing!! Walkability: 7 minutes in to town
Excellent site, which has been revamped since last there. Washroom facilities ample and very clean. Staff are friendly and very helpful. Easy access to site.
Lovely quite site, very well kept and the toilet shower block were absolutely stunning, hotel class the best I have ever seen on a site, nice 10 minute walk into town.
Beautiful site, amazing location right on edge of Glastonbury and 15 minute walk into town. Huge shower ans toilets block for both men and women. Little shop at the front which was really well stocked with all sorts of bits, bench and umbrellas outside with was a nice touch to sit at in the evening. The tent pitching area in pretty small but suitable for a few tents. Area was well kept and nice looking. The only thing that let it down for me was the fact you couldn't get in and out as they locked electric barriers despite saying you could come and go until 11pm! Had to wait with another car for 10 minutes and bang on owners house to let us in!
This is one of the best campsites I've seen in Britain. The pitches are grass or gravel with grass. They are big enough and equipped with ehu and drinking water and recycle points nearby. The toilets and showers are new and clean. And very important for me, being 1.90 mtr, the mirrors are large enough for both short and tall people. The staff are very friendly and helpful always willing to solve a problem should it arise. There is a small shop on site with some groceries and camping equipment. The camping is at walking distance from Glastonbury, providing an excellent startingpoint for a walk or an excursion. So I can really recommend this site!
We had a lovely stay with our 16month old we was concerned that he's such a busy bee we would drive other campers dotty but everyone was amazing with him the owners were lovely and chatted regularly with us. The updated toliets are fantastic and they have more facilities that they probably need which is fab as we never had to wait for a shower or the loos. The site and toilets were kept clean and tidy pitch sizes were big
