Don’t even deserve one star! Ferry was delayed by 45 minutes. Once it was time to disembark from the boat the door to exit onto the car deck was locked for 20 minutes. We were stuck queuing to get onto the car deck with around 50 other people. Two staff members stood and watched while we all queue for this amount of time. The staff then went onto the tannoy to say we were delaying disembarking when their staff members clearly watched us all waiting by the door. It was only when the staff were questioned as to why we couldn’t get to our cars that they opened the door. It’s disgusting behaviour by the staff really. Had there been a fire this would have been a huge disaster.
Zero stars, the customer service is appalling, they take money then demand more money even though I had already paid in full on their website, your IT systems are broken!!! Now I find you have lodged a gift voucher given to me against another account and you refuse to remedy the situation! Not even a phone call from a manager that I have been requesting all week!!! This company is nothing more than thieves.
Worst ferries from all I've ever used in Dover. Once we had a delay of nearly an hour as something broke. Shops on board are overpriced especially if you compare it to dfds. I use them only as they're the cheapest at the moment. Additionally not like in dfds you have only 4 hours window to use the ferry. I guess you get what you pay for.
Poor management of check in staffing levels has cost me 2hrs of sleep because I was waiting in the queue for two hours and so have to take the next boat. They owe me two hours of my life which is £150 these days.
Used Dover to Calais ,The staff are rude. The ferry itself was very dirty and unkept. Bathrooms were rusty and dirty aswell. Not going by Irish Ferry again.
I try to get the 8.05 Dublin to Holyhead, it NEVER leaves on time, if it was my choice I’d try another ferry company
Travelling by coach and sail between Manchester and Dublin via Holyhead on the Irish Ferries Ulysses Cruise Ferry, especially in the Club Class Lounge, is a real pleasure, which I do at least once every 6 Months and the crew onboard are lovely - I very much look forward to being on the new ship, the W.B. Yeates, very soon once it enters service on arrival from the German shipyard
First class experience, I will only use the ferries now. I am ditching Ryanair
Make up rules for travel told me I need a pcr test to travel to the UK and I am double vaccinated travelling from a green list country.
I have travelled return to Ireland 2/3 Tim. Year nod have always been very satisfied with the service we have received
